what's everyones thoughts on Alfred Morris? Surprised that I have not heard his name linked to many teams yet. I know his productions has declined over the years and he is not known as a receiver, but he has been productive on a mediocre team, is a straight line runner and blocks well. Think he could be an upgrade over Blount.

That's a hell of a cheap signing.

He's coming off a pretty bad year. Would be interesting if Jets turned another Saints RB into a workhrose.

That's Julian Edelman money right there.
I'm telling you, they're going to use him as a bargaining chip to either lower Amendola's cap hit or cut him outright if he doesn't. That's if Buffalo doesn't match, of course.

Wrong .... It is possible Langford was going to emerge anyway
This is why you are the worst poster on this board.
I showed you EXACTLY that Lankford emerged when Forte was injured. Instead of accepting that you try to say it is wrong because maybe he would have emerged anyway.
It is an incontrovertible fact that Lankford emerged when Forte was injured.
It is ridiculous to try to have a discussion with someone who turns that into, no that's wrong because even though its true maybe something different would have happened if what actually happened didn't.

I've had enough of dealing with your childishness.
I frankly have absolutely no interest in your opinion, because I place zero value on it, both because I think you have no knowledge about football, and that you will say whatever it takes to just not admit you are wrong, as you just proved.

I will not be responding to any more of your posts, because in my opinion they have no value whatsoever.

his ypc has gone down every year since his rookie season........he's already worn out

Hey everybody! It's free-agency time and the Patriots have cap room! Aren't we jacked and pumped?!

Well, OK ... But at least we have the draft to look forward to!

Never mind.

Backing himself to come good after the injury to get his deal next year. Makes sense IMO.

"Listen Danny, we already have another jacked white receiver here to take your job. Sign the papers."

I am enjoying the madness some of you are displaying even though the Pats do this every year. They let other teams overspend for inferior talent while they sit back and wait. Pick off the scraps that no one wants.

The GOAT QB is making 14 million this year, while Joe Flacco is making over 20 LMAO.

One of the best WR in the game in JE11 is making 4 million a year, while 2nd and 3rd string WR making 8 hahahaha.

Patriots have and are doing it right , there success proves it.

It's the same thing each year. Patriots have a deep roster full of good players, which keeps them competitive even after starters go down with injuries.

If we spent top dollar on hotshot receivers (and I'm not even sure Sanu, Mathews, and Jones really qualify as "hotshots") we"re not only sacrificing depth were also risking the chance of sinking all that money into someone who can't grasp the playbook.

Give reasonable contacts to Hogan and Streater and see what they can do.

Draft a RB and sign some older RB coming off an injury to a cheap contract and see what he has left.

@AndyJohnson, is there a reason you keep referring to Jeremy Langford as Lankford or have I missed something?

FACT: Forte wanted to stay in Chicago
FACT: Forte was willing to share the load

I gave you facts and you are ignoring them.....they are the real bottom lines that prove the Bears simply did not want him........run along and pout.....again

.......So how's that 8 per for Kearse looking now pal?

Nice try though ;)
Hometown discount to stay. If he was leaving for the best deal he surely gets more than Sanu. Apples to oranges.
