I really hope BB is on the Phone with Jermain Kearse right now! because I think he's much better than Sanu. This is not the time to play Possum BB! I dont want father time Boldin...get Brady a good young WR BB this BS gotta stop.

I this is makes sense to be super interest in this if you are a Patriots fan cause we are talking about the 1 FA we will get that will be a starter or is the most likely starter.
Wake me up when the Patriots drop significant money ($3 million or more) on a free-agent WR. I think I'm in for a nice long nap.

I know. Who the F is BB to think he knows what he is doing. How dare he not love the WR.
I mean all we have to show for this idiots way of running a team is 4 championships 6 SBs 13 division titles in 15 years. Maybe he should be fired and replaced by someone who knows football and loves WRs.

Offer in works for Chris Hogan, WR, Bills.

Less than exciting. Highly doubt he will be better than LaFell.

I REALLY hope they at least sign AnquanB for 1-2yr to provide X factor. He has gas left and wants to play for a true contender.

Then, sign James Starks, RB.

Just once Id the Pats to draft a stud WR who is a game changer.

“I look at Sanu as a player who in 2012 lasted until the third round, the Patriots had a need at that position in 2012. In the second round they took Tavon Wilson who, of course, wasn’t that relevant and he moves on. I think it was a missed opportunity with him.”

I like Hogan ... his numbers this year are very close to Sanu's and he will be much cheaper. Did you see his Pro Day numbers ... they were off the charts. He is 6'1" 220# and runs under 4.5. He is also incredible strong, posting 28 reps @ 225#. That is better than most of the O Lineman in this years draft. Remember his nickname from Hard Knocks Miami Dolphins 7-Eleven ... that's because he is always open .... sign him!

Wow that's a misleading headline.

I'm worried that Hogan might be it as far as WR additions. The roster already has Edelman, Amendola (assuming he takes a pay cut), Martin, and Dobson. Didn't see any elite offensive options in FA so I'm not upset that the Pats didn't go out and pay exorbitant amounts for an average/above average type talent. May need to strike gold in this NFL Draft, and they're already handicapped by forfeiting the first round pick thanks to the damn Fuhrer Goodell.

I would rather draft another 7th round talent safety in the 2nd then spend that pick on a WR.

The contract Kearse got from the Seahawks is more than reasonable, I think it was on par with a Pats signing, maybe they could offer the same contract Edelman got, 4/16, ok he is from Seattle and etc but so what, Seattle is a boring city and Brady would make him a star. The Pats really missed on this one unless he was decided to stay in Seattle.

Hogan's pro day results are insane
6'1 #220
4.47 40
6.75 3 cone
And 28 reps of 220.

Those are insane numbers

Kearse, Matthews, and Benjamin all signed for reasonable money.

He also played college ball at Washington. He's supposed to move his family across the country for the same amount of money, leaving a place he's been for a while now, based on Seattle being a "boring city?"
