Sure they do. This isn't even a question.
They were never going to give Forte the ball 20+ times a game. That is why they did not bring him in. That and his age were factors.

That's a ridiculous assertion.

No one is sitting here debating whether or not we should get rid of Gronk and Edleman, of course not. But the fact is that these two DO get injured very frequently and you need to be prepared for the worst.

Do you not remeber when Gronk got hurt three seasons in a row? We were relying on JAGs like Matthew Mulligan and Austin Collie. That definitely cost us a Super Bowl or two. Edleman has had his fair share of injury history himself as well.

Again, no one asking for Julio Jones as our 3rd string WR. But replacing Harper, LaFell and Dobson for Boldin and Kearse is not out of the realm of possiblities, in the slightest.

I think a second TE would be a good pickup rather than two WRs. I'd be fine with Boldin or Kearse (or Hogan), assuming the price is right. That said, the market at TE is pretty bare. Vernon Davis, Jared Cook, and Jermaine Gresham aren't exactly a murderer's row.

Cook could do well here, but than again, I thought Chandler was going to tear it up as well.

When it comes to TE, I think the best option is a trade for Martellus Bennett if the price is right. Him and Gronk would be a gigantic matchup nightmare.

I think the fact that Cinn. Did not keep either of their own FAs is a sign to people that they got overpaid...

Plus Brown is one of the cheapest owners on the planet.

The team needs another WR badly in case of injury. The depth there is not good at all.

I realize you think the end result of what you are asking for is silly, that's why I pointed it out.

You are saying in Free Agency we should be going after 7 million dollar a year players because our 4th and 5th WRs needed to play last year. You can't pay 7 million for a 4th WR.

You seem to not understand that when you use all of your cap and you have injuries and that means backups had to play, it 'cost you a SB' it was because you had injuries and no one has starting caliber backups. You seem to think it 'cost them a SB' because they couldn't figure out how to have an extra 30 mill of cap space to sit starters on the bench until injuries happen.

You selectively cut out the first part of my original response. Context is important.

I read your entire response. You're moving the goalposts, and your argument is horrible. You're much better than that, on both counts.
