Patriots have reached a 1-year contract agreement with LB Ramon Humber, formerly of Saints. Special teamer/top backup on D.

OK, now who is he.

JAG. Maybe he will do okay on STs but i doubt he does anything on defense for us and I would not be surprised if he is not on the final 53.

Finally, a signing. Just to break the ice, at least.

james jones can't get open.

sign percy harvin the beast!!! do it now BB
Percy Harvin? The guy who doesn't want to play football?
Why not sign Calvin Johnson?

Osweiler's final offer from Denver was apparently somewhere north of 16 million per year with 30 million guaranteed.

Yeah, they can have Sanu regardless of what the contract terms are. $7M per is ridiculous. Get Kearse and Boldin and bring in Weddle on defense and call it a day.
Hat do you think you will have to pay Kearse, if Sanu is getting paid this much, I don't see Kearse here.

Jets are mediocre at best. They had a very weak schedule and are losing more pieces than they are adding.

Well I certainly hope you're right. Almost nothing makes me happier than to see them suck.

What an idiot. "I want to play for a contender" my ass.

This is why when a player claims he wants to play for a contender, never believe him. It will always be about the money. I am sure Forte justified this decision by saying "Hey, the Jets almost made the playoffs last year. They have a pretty good shot in 2016. And once you get in, anyone can end up winning the whole thing."

RAMON HUMBAR!!!!!!!

Super Bowl!

6 per for Benjamin in SD

Apparently he's 5'11", 232? That's tiny for a LB, gotta figure he's being signed almost exclusively for his ST value. Maybe a Nate Ebner replacement.

Besides special teams, looks like Humbar has experience playing defense, if needed. So that's kind of a bonus. Wonder what that means to all the other backups on this team, Bostic, Watson and Freeny. Are they signed or free agents?

Whoever projected Ramon Humbar should get a prize cause they obviously knew something none of us did.

They are a .500 team. Based upon schedule strength and how the ball bounces they could go a game or 2 in either direction. That assumes Fitzpatrick is the QB. With Geno .500 would be a miracle.
