I can't wait to get Dion Lewis back.

Knowing how Fragile Dion Lewis is...I wouldn't mind a RB close in ability alot Bigger who can take a pounding. That way he can soften them up for Dion to take over...the Defense would be clueless!

Hey does anyone have any thoughts about his health or if he will be healthy or how healthy he will be or how we can keep him healthy?

Just trying to keep the thread FRESH

Edit: healthy

You're really surprised that this thread went completely to health?

Aside from his 2 years at Pitt and his first 2 season in the NFL but ya injured every year.

Gronk just finished his 2nd straight season of at least 17 games. After '11-'13 a lot of you thought he could never finish a season again

Agree completely. Injuries are just a part of the game and players go through good and bad stretches regarding them. Smart teams build insurance for them, which in this instance is another reason I want Forte as he can be the first down back they need but also the receiving insurance if Lewis gets hurt again.

If Dion Lewis misses a game next year I'll quit posting on this board for forever. That's a promise you can take to the bank.

I am fine with him not playing till November and then hoping he could go the distance.
He is a game changer when healthy.

The fact that he is so injury prone sucks. Still I look forward to his return. Having this guy took major pressure off the offensive line and often times when we ended up in third and long situations I felt confident that Dion Lewis would break a 15 yard catch and run. Very valuable player.

Limiting his touches will not decrease his chance of injury. He went down untouched due to the way he plays (which we all love).

That injury seemed as likely on his first touch as his 100th.

I'm glad he's here but the Pats shouldn't rely on him for a full season no matter how many touches he gets.

imagine having the luxury of running that very play against the donkeys? The D cheats to the right to get after Jules, and Dion eats the linebackers and d-backs for lunch. Just a hunch, but I'm guessing Dion on the field neutralizes the donkey pass rush.

I'm not holding my breath that he'll be anywhere near as effective as he was last year. those non contact knee injuries are tough, especially for a guy who plays like him. fingers crossed, but james white better do some serious ****ing training this off season....

You mean after he's activated from Reserve PUP?

If he doesn't play game 1-16 and we don't go undefeated and win the SB trophy I will quit posting here for forever, I swear on my mother's grape.

If you haven't seen his high school highlights, they are worth watching. Some of the best HS RB highlights I have ever seen.

Oh, how great. About 5:20? Just unbelievable. What insticts. Pretty good DB too!

He had a lot of really nice plays in that video and that return at 5:20, that was a special play! Seeing the defenders just sitting on the ground in defeat watching him stroll into the end zone is priceless!

He did have a lot of really nice tackles on defense and special teams too!!
