Pats go after Sanu?

That's an AK. Is this Patriot a Russian? That's no good.

To be honest, I wasn't paying attention to the rifle, but now that you mentioned it, it does look like an AK.

Shiny new toy threads are pretty much the staple of the off-season

I want Kearse, he plays hard, he is hard to tackle, and he can run decent routes.
He would fit on our system really well.
Look at high highlight in the SB.

I'm still interested in seeing whether or not Gibson will stay, as he looked like he picked the system up and was contributing nicely during TC/preseason.

I would rather Kearse than Sanu but thats just me.

I am not so much opposed to Sanu one year when A.J Green missed alot of time Sanu kinda stepped up his best year to date. Sanu maybe much better than regarded.

One thing of note with Kearse too he goes over the Middle much like Edelman and Amendola...he can also go deep too. I think Kearse is a jack of all trades type receiver.

Meh.. He got outplayed by a rookie this year and was completely eliminated in 4 games this season. LaFell played in a half as many games and put up similar numbers to him.

Look at high highlight in the SB.

Was more luck of the bounce than anything he did.

Seems to me if we're going to go after a middling #2 who is no guarantee to have chemistry with Brady and this offense, then we're better off keeping LaFell who has at least proven he can do it for one season. If we're going to replace LaFell, it should be for a significant upgrade, not just some guy we think we like better.

Remember when we made a Pitch for Emmanuel Sanders? Some of us now wish we had up the ante...Sanders have been a beast ever since he left Pittsburgh. Don't get your hopes up high for LaFail I don't see any upside for him I hope we move on...his last meaningful catch was like week 10.

Every year. A better 2 receiver doesn't fix the problems. I for one hope the money goes to fix the line and re-establish the run game. Without these upgrades I don't believe any names mentioned here will make a difference.

LaFell couldn't have been worse this season. I expect a return to 2014 form, especially with Dion Lewis back in the mix to warrant attention. Did these two even see the field together in 2015?

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but only thing I see happening in regards to the OL is Cannon being cut and them getting a veteran #3 swing T and maybe a veteran G for depth if Wendell isn't re-signed and then drafting Vollmer's eventual replacement and sending Fleming back to the PS.

'16 OL is most likely going to be

Solder-Mason/Kline-Stork-Jackson-Vollmer

It depends on what problems to which you are referring. Upgrading from (post-trade) 2010 to 2011 certainly helped the offense in some ways, even as the defense was dragging the team down, and helped the team reach the SB. Upgrading in 2012 by adding Lloyd to the mix resulted in the offense scoring 44 more points during the regular season, although the team lost in the AFCCG.

In 2013, the offense went largely to **** thanks to injury, letting go of Lloyd, and the poor play of rookie and FA WRs, and the team scored more than 100 points fewer than it had in 2012.

In 2014, the addition of LaFell was a marked upgrade, and the team had a legit shot to return to the SB before the injuries hit.

In 2015, the further addition of Lewis and Martin helped to alleviate the dip in LaFell's play until injuries once again buried the team.

And none of that even gets into the radical transformation of the WR corps in the 2006-2007 seasons, or involves the sort of OWR (middle-deep player) for which people have been calling.

Marvin Jones is a significant upgrade from LaFell.

Why can't we try to upgrade all 3 of OL, RB and WR?

And I expect Lewis back in the mix…by Halloween.

Yeah, but can he drop passes? How will we replace Lafell's 2015 production?
