Reminds me that beyond having to watch PEDton get another title, what made this excruciating was having to see Elway up there with him. An all-time, Shula-level d-bag in my book. He set the tone for Eli with the Chargers (and in my view, PEDton with the Jets, where he could have gone the year before he came out but chose not to to avoid Tuna). It goes without saying on this forum that Elway was neck-deep in the Dinkeys multiple salary cap violations and other scams. Elway was 2-4 going into the Super Bowl including three of the worst beatings in the history of the game. How sweet would it have been to see him pass the Bills gang and become the losingest individual in Super Bowl history. Object lesson: the world ain't always fair.
