this is something a sub-moron with an ice pick stuck in his forebrain would fabricate in a meme

The amount of people that I have seen compare Tom Brady and Bridget Moynihan have a baby out of wedlock with CONSENSUAL sex ( which Brady and her broke up before she found out she was pregnant)and which Brady sees his son and provides for his son . To Manning performing sexual battery is astounding.

Hey guys did you know that Shaun King lied about being black therefore sexual assault and cover-up by Peyton Manning doesn't matter.

What was Manning thinking?

And according to many what happens in college shouldn't stain a persons reputation years later.(Same reporters/fans who still remind Cam Newton years later about his crime)

This is actually not true on top of being idiotic. I've had several women tell me they don't like Brady because they think he just dumped his pregnant girlfriend for Giselle. Pretty much every article about Brady has some woman mentioning it in the comments.

Manning has undeniably done much good -- on the football field and off -- in the nearly 20 years since February 29, 1996. And he’s been almost universally praised for all of it. He’s an icon, a pitchman extraordinaire, a model professional, a legend. There’s much at stake for many people to make sure none of it is ever compromised."

well, if one ever required a MOTIVE for FIXING an NFL playoff game or a Super Bowl, THERE IT IS.

Addressing the meme: didn't Brady dump Moynihan because she "pulled the goalie"?

In his freshman year, Peyton Manning committed a MAJOR violation at the University. His attorneys forced it to be redacted in our documents.

Dr. Jamie Naughright was the one who caught Peyton Manning in this violation his freshman year. That's the ROOT of every problem they have.

I believe we will be able to release the redacted portion of the court documents as well. I've discovered what that was about. Deep & ugly.

I'll admit the dude's good at generating clicks -- that actually has me curious, although string this story out like a daytime drama cliffhanger doesn't give me any more confidence in the messenger.

This is very reminiscent to me of OJ Simpson and Tiger Woods. For some reason, typical Americans want to ascribe character traits to celebrities and athletes, and while they know nothing about them, consider them models of virtue, integrity and all that is good.
Paying a sport well, seeming affable in interviews, and making tons of money to ACT in commercials are not evidence of character.

I suppose this will blow over quickly, since the victim is barred from speaking about it. Unless the redacted information is made public and its abominable, or this motivates some authority to dig deeper into the HGH issue, Manning will continue to acts as if he is on high ground, which has nothing to do with whether the truth would show he is or not. And many will react by blaming the vicitim(s), since the Peyton they know (from their TV) is a pillar of integrity.

LOL. Imagine if he took HGH in 1994. Goodell would probably s*** his pants.

I understand this is probably a joke, but if hgh was even available back then I can pretty much guarantee colleges didn't test for it.

I hear you bud, but it leads me to believe whoever's pulling the strings wants to draw it out and keep it in the media, i.e. the group with a suit against UT

Yeah I was just kidding, don't think HGH was even a thing at the time, and colleges certainly weren't testing.

Well I'm curious about her being barred from speaking about it. They signed a confidentiality agreement but clearly Peyton broke that agreement by publishing a book containing his account of the incident. Does that not render the agreement void?

Depends on the wording.

It will depend on the exact language of the agreement, but generally breaching a contract does not nullify it. Rather, it only allows the other party to pursue whatever remedies law and the contract's own language allows to be taken against the breacher.

So in the most common case the aggrieved party could sue for breach of contract or demand whatever liquidated damages any liquidated damages clause states, but they are not relieved of their obligations just because the other side breached.

Or, for example, if the contract said something like "both sides agree to never say anything about what happened and also she agrees not to sue for defamation if he never says anything about it", and then he opens his trap she could sue him for defamation and sue for breach of contract but she would still have to keep her mouth shut (aside from court filings).
