@DandCShow I was just told by a current ESPN anchor that all ESPN employees were told not to report or discuss the Daily News story on Peyton Manning.

The suspected rogue anchor leaking this to them:

@RandyScottESPN
This. All of this. Long read, but worth it. You won't look at Peyton Manning the same way again. This is journalism.

@RandyScottESPN
And is smearing her name, character assassinating her & attempting to ruin her career part of the "prank"?

Some pats fan told him to discuss it live and said that he "overestimates my pull, but I'll give it a shot." Looks like network overruled him.

shocked....shocked i tell ya

The new lawsuit against UT is the type of thing they would normally run ad nauseum. Interesting to see how they handle it going forward.

Remember ESPN owns the sec network so let's see how long they don't report it

By telling their employees to not report on the Manning story is, in away, helping to cover it up.

This isn't true at all. They are planning on talking about it. I just saw this on the scroll on ESPN:

"Breaking News: Tom Brady named as an accomplice in an sexual assault allegation by an unnamed former Tennessee Volunteer player. News to follow..."

Report: Manning alleged assault cited in UT suit

Looks like they're reporting on the UT suit.

A lot of the comments to that story are nauseating. Some peyton fans are calling the trainer a liar, some are saying she shouldve expected it to happen for being in a locker room, and some actually think what Manning did to her to be pretty funny.

And I'd bet that these scumbag Manning fans are the same people who were appalled by the IGL and think that Brady shouldve gotten the electric chair

Did you watch the video on that page? Want clear proof of ESPN bias for Manning? Manning was one of four former players named in the federal lawsuit. In the video, Bob Ley mentions two of four by name. Who does he name? AJ Johnson and Michael Williams. The piece doesn't mention Peyton Manning other than when they went to a reporter in Tennessee who mentions the Manning case in an off hand way even though he is the biggest name in the lawsuit. Ley never follows up with questions about the Manning allegations.

Good observation. Some reporters like Bob Ley are too scared to mention his name.

And just last week, Bob Ley ripped through Baylor for sexual harassment lawsuits.

In all fairness, it would have been awkward for him to follow ESPN station policy requiring him to get out of his chair, get on his knees, lower his face to the floor, and say "included in the lawsuit was Our Lord and Savior, Peyton Manning."

The video was something about Baylor when I looked at the page, I thought it wasn't related and they just stuck the video there for whatever reason.

Yeah I read a few and it was hard not to vomit... One guy said something like "why are people so offended by a little teabagging? My wife thinks it's funny" Seriously?

Go head over to the Colts forum to see what you're saying in action. They think Brady, Kraft and Belichick are classless scum and that Manning and their fan base were sent down from heaven by God himself to point out all of the injustice in the NFL

They're really like a cult mindset over there, its amazing
