Top? Bottom? Lack of a running game killed us. If Lewis was healthy all year we may be singing a different tune. He will be back next year..hopefully to what he was to begin the season. But no question we need some depth at least if in fact Blount is gone.

I know everyone is on the Forte train and i really like him. I just don't know how realistic it is he comes here and is OK with splitting carries with 2 other guys ect. OL is a issue as we all know. I don't see WR being a issue. If Lafell can turn into 2014 again. The receivers are fine...if not then yes we need someone to fill his role.

Like many say and know...RBs at least in this O are a dime a dozen as we plug and play better than any other team. Do we need to spend the $$ on Forte when we can find a similar back for cheaper who can be just as productive?

Hands down for me its #1. Main reason think about 20+ more runs a game instead of passes. That's 20+ less hits a game that Gronk, Jules, and the other wr's are taking a game. Now you add that up over entire season that is a sh!t ton less hits. Now that is also less hits on the QB as well.

Need to add to the attack and that starts with RB.

Isn't there a stat that if the Pats rush for over a 100 yards they have some godly number of wins compared to loses.

A good RB who can gain consistently and break out occasionally is a top prioroty IMO. We could still use Dion occasionally, more in the passing game and Blount as a 2nd half punisher.

Not necessarily pushing Ridley, but that's the type. Of course, burst and pass catching would be nice. Don't know much about Forte.

Dante and some new recruits, Solder back, might take care of the OLine problem and working in a new WR is not magic, they need to work with Tom. As horrible as LaFell was this year, if he was injured, he's worth a camp shot. He was almost like a move TE with his strength and more burst.

I'm just saying that big name WR have flamed out while unheralded players have succeeded at WR. Love to see a lot of competition, but we could get more bang for buck with a RB, especially with few picks [fck you roger].

RB is their top need and my hope is they address it both in free agency and the draft. Forte is my top choice because he can do everything as a RB, the cost will be completely reasonable, and at 30 I don't buy the age argument as I think they can get at least two good seasons out of him. Hopefully they double dip and get a good prospect in the draft to groom behind him and use in case of injury.

Pretty sure there is actually. Remember seeing it last season IIRC

Since 2012 they are 24-3 when they run for more than 100 yards in the reg season

I think everyone on this board would take a 2012 Ridley that doesn't fumble.

It's right at the top of the list for me. I think the Offensive side of the ball is where our biggest needs are, whether that be rb, wr, guard or tight end. If we can somehow manage to run the ball against anyone other than the Colts, our Offense would literally be unstoppable!!!

The top 4 seem clear, regardless of the order

RB
WR
OL
CB

After that, it's a bit more about patchwork

Definitely at or near the top.

We all saw what the lack of even a whiff of a running game did in Denver. Our QB hit a historic number of times, as the Broncos had the luxury of having to defend a one-dimensional opponent.

Hes 30 years old so he won't have another big payday coming to him in his career, and I don't think this one is going to be all that high either since there is a wall and 30 is that wall for RBs.. so i dont think he'd have a problem playing in a rotational role with other players to stay fresh and have a shot at playoff runs.. something he definitely never saw in Chicago

Hes the old veteran with enough left in the tank to help a proven team win, who probably desperately wants a chance to win a Championship or at least a playoff game lol.. so he might not be all that expensive, but i agree i wouldn't want to break the bank on any RB, id rather just draft a guy in the 2nd-3rd round

Top 3 seem right to me but assuming Brown, Coleman return and Roberts projects to be a CB2 and better than Ryan I think I'm ok with the pool of CBs going into 2016.

I'd like to see a TE2 and an upgrade over Freeney. I'm hoping Bostic is that guy but I doubt it.

RB
OL
WR
LB

My order of those needs:

1. OL is tops for me. I think having a technically sound OL improves or allows both the passing and rushing game to perform effectively.

2. RB - Blount seems to need too much time to get up to speed. I would rather have a slower RB that gets 3,4 or 5 yards per attempt. Although that may be a result of poor OL play. I don't know.

3. WR - Hoping that either Tyms, Dobson or Lafell can fill the WR need.

4. CB - The secondary performed well last season despite the injuries so with those injured guys returning I see this more as a depth issue.

On th top after O-line and WR

Don't think you are going to any movement there... Maybe Cannon goes and Waddle replaces him as the #3 T and they draft someone with the plan from him to replace Vollmer after next year (will be a Free Agent and will be 32)

But if Scar is back and with a full off-season program with them he'll have the OL a finely tuned machine by the end of the first month of the season.

Honestly not too high. I think a running game is very important. But I would be dissapointed if our first pick was used on a running back. I think we need to strive to get that Oline to being a top 10 unit in the League. Then it will not matter that much who we put back their.

If Forte was off the table I would want them to go after Lamar Miller or Alfred Morris.
