The big offseason question: How do we solve the Denver defense?

Pretty simple. Don't tank meaningful games at the end of the year that winning would have guaranteed a trip to the super bowl and don't put an unproven rookie in to receive punts in Denver in a snow storm to cost you a game that meant home field advantage. BB you cost us with some piss poor decisions. Oh and stay healthy. A healthy Patriots team would have even trumped the piss poor coaching strategy and decisions made during those last 3 games.

This is a very complex "Football" topic, which is way, way beyond my Football IQ.

But I guess I'd start by not having my mother ****ing center not signal the exact second of every snap by bobbing his head up and down so the outside rushers are in the backfield before the ball gets to the QB...and then, maybe, I'd try actually blocking the interior defensive linemen...but, then again, what do I know?

1. Health
2. Home field advantage - we have WRECKED denver every time at home.
3. make sure Stork doesnt give away the snap count each play

No Edelman, no Amendola, no Lewis.

I dunno, but maybe having one of those three guys available might have made a wee bit of difference in the first Denver game and against the JEST.

95 percent of this board picked them to win knowing those guys wouldn't be there.

This is the problem I have with this board.

Denvers D was the benefit of several things throughout the season. Here is what they did and did not do well..

They did not-
Beats the pats in the first game, it was the muffed punt, the Pats D and horrible play calling that lost that game.

They were beaten by Indy and oak....

They needed a fumble to beat Pitt

They barely beat a second string QB with Cinn

They benefitted from a missed PAT

They survived Talibs dumbass penalties and they benefited from a host of questions calls.

They caught Cam on his worst day as a pro

They benefited from severa OC'a who thought they could run up the middle on them, even well after it was clear it was a waste of time (hmm)

What they do well.... Stop the run.... If a QB has time, they can move the ball against them.... But you need a good O line, not toll booths like we had.
