Because we hate ourselves: Would the Patriots have won tonight?

Let's see...would the Patriots have won a game they couldn't even get to...

Look, every sports fan plays the shoulda/woulda/coulda game. Hard not to. But whenever possible, fight it. Because it's nonsense. Sports is about execution. Playing the games. It's one of a thousand reasons I hate the idea of the "ESPYs." It's why I hate every team and fanbase the Pats have ever beaten who whine after that they "should" have won.

Could the Pats have won a hypothetical game? Um...yes? They could have hypothetically won by a hundred points. They didn't play in the game.

Check out my signature. It's all that matters. That's why I love sports, particularly in a society that too often values whining and victimization. 31 teams can try and claim they should have been the winners. One team actually is.

IMO:

If they win one of the last 2 games ( jets and dolphins) they win the SB50. HFA is huge.
OR
If Gost dont miss the extra point they win the SB50 ( i am not blaming him, mistakes happen), but in the second half Denver had lest then 100 total yards and less then 5 first downs.
OR
If we had Lewis healthy, we win the SB50. Solder is a great player but Von Miller or Ware would destroy him too.

Would the NFL and officials have even allowed the Pats to win if we were in it?
