I just hate Wilson. Everything that comes out of his mouth sounds like lip service. He constantly talks about God dictating what happens on the football field (paraphrasing: "God wanted me to throw four interceptions in the NFCCG so that when we ultimately won the victory would taste that much sweeter.") He is just completely fake to me.

But I guess by liking Manning I am "falling for it". ************, give me a break. How did you react a couple weeks ago when Tom released the open letter to the fans, thanking them for the 2015 season? If you thought it was a nice touch, then I guess we're just mindless shills that are "falling for it". It was orchestrated by his PR people, right? Oh, wait, let me guess -- when Tom does something nice, it was because he's a genuinely good guy, but when Manning does it, there are nefarious ulterior motives to manipulate the public. Is that how it goes? (By the way, I loved Tom's letter, I thought it was great. I'm not accusing him of trying to put a spin on his public image -- just trying to point out the ridiculous double standards.)

Look, Tom is the GOAT. There's no disputing that. Manning is great in his own right though, one of the best in NFL history. Refusing to acknowledge his talent, or trying to twist some cynical spin to knock him down a notch just comes off as, quite frankly, a display of insecurity. Belichick has great respect for Manning, and I do too. There's nothing wrong with recognizing his greatness or respecting Peyton as a competitor. It's just basic sportsmanship.

This guy gets it. There's nothing real about Peyton Manning everything seems so rehearsed to play the masses. Only thing real is his large forehead and his career of shortcomings.
