Worst SB I have ever seen

Pretty sure that was the worst SB i have seen in my life ( i am 27)

Wasn't the greatest but I didn't even think of it as the worst until seeing this thread.

Seahawks-Steelers was horrible as was 49ers Chargers. This was a classic compared to those games.

Nah this one was ok (though I wasn't crazy about the outcome). Dal/Buff twice, Pitt/Sea, SD/SF, that godawful Den/Atl game. Those were some bad games.

Don't forget the 44-yard field goal attempt clanking off the upright, and the inexplicable horrendous "fair catch" punt return fiasco.

Historically, there are plenty of Super Bowls where one team was just atrocious and the other played well and blew them out. Broncos turned it over 4 times in SB24 - and lost 55-10. Those types of games may have been blowouts, but at least you could respect that 1 of the teams was a true champion.

However, when it comes to worst Super Bowls ever and worst performances by both teams - especially the winning team - I can't decide between this game and SB40.

This was the worst SB since the Seattle vs Pitt one during the 05 season. This one is close but not as bad as that one. The 06 Bears and Indy is probably on par with this one for just being boring and a bad game.

I didn't watch a single NFL related thing after the Seattle-Pittsburgh Super Bowl. That made me question the "Business of the NFL" more than anything.

I thought the Ravens/Giants superbowl was pretty good. That was awesome defensive play. Steelers/Seahawks....now, that was a terrible superbowl
That Steelers/Seahawks game goes down with 2002 Lakers vs Kings as one of the biggest thieveries ever done to a team. Seahawks and Kings were blatently robbed. The Kings robbery was so bad that I remember Ralph Nader discussing it as consumer fraud.

fair point

The game was definitely a clunker. Lots of great play by the Broncos D but not much else.

What was total on personal fouls? Eight? Four each? Not a lot of integrity there.

Saying denver played poorly is grossly inaccurate. People only focus on the offensive side of the ball and completely ignore how they dominated on defense.. And I believe they made some special teams plays as well. At least one big one I can remember. They didn't play a good offensive game, but that's only one side of the ball.

I actually enjoyed the game as it became apparent that the entire media contingent was destroyed that their prized PEDton was shytting the bed yet again. They even had "Peyton named MVP!" segments all cued up and ready to drop. The dismay and disappointment was so tangible one could almost reach out into Nantz and Simm's booth and sample a taste.

Correction Peyton*:).. agree Nantz and Simms gentle massaged his testicles throughout the entire telecast.

I'm sorry buddy but that's biased. I don't know how old you are but if you remembered the Super Bowls from the 80's, 90's you wouldn't say it was the worst. Hell, the Steeleres/Seahawks Super Bowl was way worse than last night's...and Giants vs Ravens, snooze fest. Last night is fresh in your head and it wasn't good but hardly the worst. Good day.

There were some blowouts, but at least you got to see a great team play great (ie Niners, Cowboys, etc...). This was bad football

4th-Worst Super Bowl Ever.

For the first time in my life I was glad I was sick and fell a sleep around 7. I didn't know who had won until the next morning.
Though for bad SB it was always for me the four Vikings Sb from the 70's. Talk about a team chocking in the big game. Great any other time of the year, but man in those games.
