Probably.Does the "42 players signed" mean they'll eat up salary cap $$$ for each player signed up to 53 ?
Thanks, so that's $4M absolute minimum. And $4M will go with Manning's NLTBE money from this year.Probably.
$450,000 times 9 = $4,050,000
Yeah, the $2M for getting to the SB and $2M for winning it would be NLTBE so when you hear of their cap #, you can subtract $4M. Spotrac tweeted something about their cap number and when I asked they said the $4M is not factored in, along with no other similar adjustments.
they'll save about 20m just from parting ways with Manning.
16.5m but that's going to be eaten up by Miller and whatever QB they decide to sign, remember Osweiler is a FA.
They save $19M. There's $2.5 in signing bonus remaining but that hits anyway. Sure they save $19M but they also lose $4M because of the NLTBE bonuses that he made which most sites don't account for.but the bottom line is that that they'll save about 20m just from parting ways with Manning.

Of course, assuming Manning is gone they don't have a QB either. Need to sign Osweiller which will each up a solid chunk.
And Trevethan, my guess is he reunites with John Fox in Chicago.the Broncos have like eight starters who are going to be free agents next month. So on paper they look to be in great cap situation.
In reality, they are likely going to lose several impact starters. They seem to already be resigned to losing Malik Jackson.
I think that they could sacrifice Demaryius Thomas prior to the draft for a pick or trade for a journeyman QB... He has been woeful the past 2 years catching 54 for 834yds but do they get anyone to eat the 15m he is on when it costs Denver 25m dead and saving only 10m.
I'd like to see the pats to snag a few players from them, like those times when they took Talib and Welker.
