have no idea how legit this is, but apparently this happened at 2 am + somebody on twitter saying it was because the cops got served a bottle of champagne before mccoy did.

It's in the reporting. Not surprising to me, entitled loser. One of the cops has a fractured skull. That better be a year ban. Easy.

did mccoy " destroy " his cellphone???

Roger Goodell logic: since his nickname is Shady he must guilty!

Sources: LeSean McCoy investigated for assault on Philadelphia cops (<<Link)

Reportedly 4 NFL players were involved.

Philadelphia police haven't formally identified McCoy as a suspect, but in a statement issued Monday said four suspects were involved and they are "reported to be members of the National Football League."

It allegedly happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the Recess Lounge located at 125 South 2nd Street in Old City.

Philadelphia police said on Monday afternoon there was an argument over a bottle of champagne.

Well with Ray Rice as precedent, an indefinite suspension no shorter than a season is pretty much required.

And this is why out of control hanging judges as commissioners setting ridiculous precedents is bad for everyone.

I liked to see how McCoy blames this one on race (everyone involved was black), maybe somehow its Chip Kelly's fault.

It looks like 4 on 1, assault and battery with a deadly weapon (shod foot). Assault on a peace officer.

Curse that damn Chip Kelley for ridding the Iggles org of high-character players. Lurie is still POd he needed to move the Xmas party so Chip could prepare for a game.

Remember how the Nebraska cop incident followed Dennard around and actually got in the way of his career when he wasn't even in the NFL yet at the time of the assault?.... and that supposedly wasn't flagrant. From the details, this sounds like 10x Dennard's incident, and McCoy is in the NFL now.

As someone previously said, sounds like this should be jailtime.

Guess those cops won't be invited to the next one of these.....

Police say outside surveillance video showed the ejection from the club, but surveillance cameras inside the club were not working.
Interesting.
Is this something that gets a club's license suspended ?
I am thinking how could Julian have cleared himself without video.

Why no police response to the club right away ?

See what I'm sayin.....need a fall guy.

Cant wait to read the Wells report we find it more probable or not that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick know who Lesean Mccoy is therefore they are generally aware and guilty on assualt on law enforcement I have no choice but to reccomend lifetime bans and the loss of the next 10 first and second round draft picks because of integrity.

Coach Ryan issued this statement...

"I like spirited players both off and on the field"...
