Is there a tackle out there that has handled Von Miller. Are there any shorter right tackles out there with great lateral quickness?

Jodee

I don't don't know but man I dream of having a pass rusher like that for the patriots I see Bill get it down with hard working guys that a good tough players but a freak of nature like miller My goodness

He gets off the line so fast it's like he is starting in the backfield

A. Draft in the top 5
B. Have him on roids and get caught
C. When that's died down, and a SB run is at hand, let him juice again.
D. Jump off sides near everytime.

Work for you?

A a great player, juice him he turns into a beast. Quite simple. You don't play 18 games and be that strong in the last 2 (better than all year) without some help.

also helps that qb's wait until the very last second to snap the ball. von times it perfectly almost every time. even old man demarcus ware does it...

some ****ty quarterbacking on display tonight

I wonder what his price tag will be now? I think he just put himself into JJ Watt territory and that's bad news for the Broncos as Trevathan, Marshall, and Malik Jackson are all free agents, and that's just the front seven. They could be looking at over 200 million for 4 defenders.

Brady struggled vs them to Von miller is like a cheat code right now

Offensive lines had no answer for him

This year

They will not be able to keep them all together

Miller is looking like a future first ballot hall of famer

The Broncos will look to keep Von miller at all cost dude is unreal

That's because about 30-40% of the time he is offside when the ball in snapped

Not true.. Von Miller was handled a lot this year. He was practically invisible for most of the game week 12 vs the Pats.

There's been plenty of Tackles that have handled him.. He had a nice post season run and now people are making him out to be this unstoppable defender because of the last 2 games. Guy goes invisible more than he takes over games..

Complete non factor in the '11, '12 and '14 playoffs

With all due respect to his monster last two games and upcoming status as highest paid defender in the NFL, Miller has not come remotely close to performing at this level consistently over his career. If he played every game at the same level as the AFCCG and Super Bowl, then we'd be talking about him being the highest paid player in NFL history (exceeding all quarterbacks) and the inevitable renaming of the Hall of Fame to bear Von Miller's name.

Since we're talking about two games in a row with just a few other games like them sprinkled throughout his career, I think we'll stick to defender money, a potential spot in the Hall of Fame if he can do it for another 5 years, and accepting that plenty of offensive tackles have managed to hold him in check in a sample size only half as long as this stretch that is making people go crazy about him.

that's OK, Denver's crafty with the cap

It's amazes me how people focus so much on what they most recently saw and forget everything else before that. For example two weeks ago the Panthers dismantled the Cards and everyone considered them the 2nd coming of the 85 Bears.

Von Miller has two great games and all of a sudden he's a first ballot HOFer.

People need some perspective. Carolina wasn't as good as they were against the Cards and Von Miller had the two best games of his career.

The Super Bowl history is littered with one hit wonders. Von Miller is good and he had a great game but let's not start chiseling his bust just yet.

Von Miller is a badass. Has been for years. Guys like him are rare, almost as rare as a franchise QB. Denver has no choice but to give him $100 million. He was the #2 pick in his draft class and has panned out. We should be extremely thankful he did not fall to #3 for Buffalo.

It will be interesting to see how much money Miller get's?

Will he test the market?

Maybe we get lucky & a team with a boat load of cash get's stupid & takes him away from Denver.

Look at the money Flaco a mediocre at best QB got after a good playoffs & Super Bowl victory.

Von Miller has benefited tremendously with a healthy Ware opposite him. Thats been a MASSIVE difference. Maybe Ware starts to slow down next year? God I hope so.

that would have been very bad for us

I think this is a situation where the exclusive franchise tag makes sense. It'll pay him more than the non-exclusive tag, but it prevents a team like the Bengals or Texans from making a play for him with their fairly low picks but reasonable cap room. I don't know the exact numbers, but the exclusive linebacker tag should still be well below the $19 million benchmark that Miller has to clear to be the highest paid defender in the NFL, so even the exclusive tag is probably underpaying him.

Once he gets tagged, then he'll either get an extension, play out that one year, or hold out. Personally, I don't think it makes sense for him to step on the practice field again until he has $60 million fully guaranteed, but sometimes players are a little more willing to let the process play out.
