I congratulate Peyton Manning

I'll congratulate Manning for s good career when he retires (soon). But why congratulate him now? His was a historically bad performance for a QB on a Super Bowl winning team.

it's more of a reflection of his career because most likely this was manning's last game. i can't imagine him coming back. and win is a win. when brady is 45 and he wins his 6th SB while playing like peyton did tonight, people would've still congratulate brady because of his great career

We hate Manning because the critics were sucking him off . Otherwise I dont think he ever did anything to warrant such hatred from Pats fan. Its the media that made us hate him. Why dont we grow up and acknowledge that he was one of few greats to ever play the game and salute him with a ring towards his retirement. We hate him because we respect him .

I don't hate Manning ... do not understand the hate for him in this forum.
I do like to crack on him ... congratulations to him for doing what was needed to win.
Man was accused of having a huge ego ... and it's big ... but he learned humility and got a ring out of it.

Would be more congratulating to Manning if he hadn't gone one and done last year and had come to get his ass beat in the AFCCG

He got the best of us too many times to not respect his career.

Otherwise, he's a sleazeball who played like a has-been while the defense won his final battle.

now i just hope peyton retires...
that defense is so good, but do they really want to carry him again??

go away lol

It doesn't help that the rules over the last decade or so have almost literally been changed specifically to try and help him.

exactly. and it goes both ways. brady got alot of hate because of he was the 'golden boy'.

regardless, it was fun while it lasted. i'm just glad brady still has 4-5 years left in him. i know my life won't be the same when brady retires. lol

yeah was good job payton, hard defense to beat.

Does help him more than Brady because he loves the intermediate routes ...
We should take more advantage of the rules than we do in the passing game.

We just lost multiple draft picks because the ball loses air when it gets cold, maybe to send a subtle message: The NE Patriots are not allowed to check in ineligible or eligible.... and especially aren't allowed to tell anybody to read their rule book.

Any new wrinkle that the Pats find is cheating. Any wrinkle that Cheaton* and the Broncolts take advantage of is genius.

I don't believe for a second that Brady will be playing when he looks like Manning.

This was a great win for Manning to cement his legacy. He becomes the first quarterback to win two Super Bowls with two different teams, he becomes the first quarterback to 200 wins, and should he retire he goes out on top.

Yeah he stumbled into it, but he earned it after years of churning out record production with a dominant Broncos team that had been knocking on the door to the Super Bowl for years. He gave up the ball twice against a defense that easily could have taken it away more. Manning succeeded in not trying to do too much and blowing the whole damn thing. Discretion can be the better part of valor, and every qb in this league would do better to take a sack instead of an interception.

Manning and the Broncos won tonight, and Manning deserves the well placed storylines surrounding him.

It was a perfect game for me. A great QB gets to go out on a win which is a good thing but he can't be considered on a par with Brady after that weak performance. And the arrogant upstart gets humiliated. It couldn't really have been scripted better as a game.

How's the CTE?

Congrats on changing the league for the worse with the terrible pro passing rules your handlers shoved down our throats. Congrats on those same rules magically going away when your passing ability did. Congrats on cheating to make a return and claim a bunch of records. Congrats on hiring thugs to intimidate someone into recanting their factual statements about you. Congrats on sexually abusing a trainer and continually lying about it. Congrats on always blaming others for your failures. And finally congrats on involving your wife in illegal drug use.

Peyton is more politician than player eff that dude.
Is that you Scott Zolak?
