The big offseason question: How do we solve the Denver defense?

Denver's defense is beyond for real. They are SCARY at rushing the passer and have two top cornerbacks. And they have a real good defensive coach.

What do the Pats need to do to this offseason to beat the Broncos IN Denver. I cannot emphasize that enough, we are playing in Denver next season. And it might be the Thursday opener which the home team has only lost once.

Ware, Talib and Ward are going to be sacrificed at the altar. It's in their contracts. Theres a good young nucleus there in Miller, Wolfe, Marshall, Harris Jr and Roby though.

I'm not worried about it. Their fan base is going to be very sad if they choose to open the season against us next year.

Everything starts with the trenches. Our line just needs to be better. Denver just got more and more confidence as the season went on and there's no doubt that the win in denver against us helped them down the stretch. They are going to have Osweiler as their qb and will lose a big presence in Peyton. I don't see Denver in the thick of it next year to be honest.

Get remotely capable pass protection and don't turn the ball over. One fewer turnover in each game and they win both. Allow 10 QB hits instead of 20 in the playoff game and they win. It's not like they need a superhuman effort. They just need to limit themselves to an average amount of mistakes as opposed to far more.

Have a healthy o-line to balance the offense out a bit and you win. Both really good teams, Denver D dominated the playoff game, muffed punt and some dopey ref calls in reg season, but in the end both those games were essentially coin flips. Nothing to be paranoid about. Draft, sign, and re-sign guys to make the best possible team.

All we need is for the oline to improve by even just a little. That's it.

Yeah, healthy Lewis and Edelman, improved OL and Denver FA situation should work.

Oline definitely. Unfortunately Denver will automatically be a better team next year because a qb other then Manning is actually and UPGRADE...

Plus that saves them 20 million to spend on free agents/resign their guys if manning retires.

Peyton will be back. So you have to face the NFL again as well.

1. Have a decent OL that at least tries to get in the path of the occasional pass rusher
2. Don't expect many 7-step dropbacks to be successful. 3-steps and throw.
3. Screens, slants, jet sweeps. Slow down the edge rushers.

The team revolves around Tom Brady. We all know that, and we gotta protect him. I'm going to lose my mind if we can't sign guys or draft them for the O-line. Depth at WR and RB would be great too

Hell, just being 100% healthy and I think they might have been able to survive Stork's head bobbing.

gonna return and try to win another SB john elway style?? i hope not...

fix the line issues/plus we need home field. gonna be tough next year since we play the afc north/nfc west instead of the cupcake afc south/nfc east.

Someone needs to redirect their defense's HGH shipments and send them to Peyton Manning's wife. That'll open up an investigation. Oh, wait.....

Don't have your LT and best RB on IR, while letting their DE's go unblocked at your QB....

The Broncos defense doesn't scare me. A healthy Pats team wins. Hell even our beat up one could've won if we kicked FG's.

Yep. The league helped him get this one. He'll try for another chance.

I've said next year 10-6 is a very viable outcome. We shall see.
