I'm infuriated with the Patriots

Brock is a FA? He should leave, they did him wrong

Um Miller was the 2nd pick overall because the Broncos were not competitive the previous year. Should the Pats tank a couple of seasons so they can guys like that? I'd prefer being in it every year. It all comes down to health and the Pats weren't healthy this year.
If the pats had the #2 pick, Goodell would find a way to take it away.

We're lucky that the semantics of the Spygate penalty allowed us to keep our highest pick and get mayo.

Yeah BB is the first to say "the players have to go play and win the game" and for all the accolades raining down on Denver's D none of it works if Von Miller didn't play like an ungodly beast the past two games. I'd like to think BB would have taken Miller at #2 overall but (unfortunately? I guess...) the Pats were 14-2 the year before that draft.

The Broncos sucked for a couple years, got some great players in the draft because of their position, built around them, and won. Good for them. Let them drink Budweiser.

There is no woulda. There is no shoulda. There is no coulda. There is only did.

There's especially no transitive power of winning.

You want a "Defeated by World Champions" banner this year?

100% this.

"I'm infuriated with the Patriots"

Superbowl champs last year, one game away from the Superbowl this year, what parts of your life have been even more successful than this that make you infuriated?

Or is the Pats success your measure of your personal happiness? If it's this, may I seriously suggest trying to find other aspects in your life that make you happy just to balance things out.

I reckon he'd have traded down and then drafted Tyron Smith. Still can't get over how good that first round was. Why Ras-I? why?

News flash.

Many of the other teams have talented, highly paid players and coaches.

While we would all like for the Patriots to have the same success as the Harlem Globetrotters have against the Washington Generals, between the salary cap, free agency, injuries, a draft that rewards under performing teams - and yes, those 31 other teams actually trying to win - the sad reality is that your favorite team is not going to win it all each and every year.

Of course we all wish our team would hoist the Lombardi every twelve months, but sometimes a reality check is in order.

Apparently the issue was that the Patriots had already acquired that in a trade.

Because when he was healthy, he made plays. The problem was he just couldn't stay healthy.

It was essentially the same gamble that BB made with GRONK. One worked, one didn't.

For a defensive genius, BB must be taking the 10 year plan to build the dominant defense that Elway (I hate that guy) has built in a few years.
Watching him, Kubiak, and Peyton celebrate is F'ing disgusting.
I can't stand it.

Who won the SB last year??? Just laughable to be talking **** about Belichick and the defense with what it has been the last two years.

Wait, the Jets are actually trying to win???

Okay the last 47 years just got even funnier

if we had homefield, we would have beaten denver and probably carolina in the SB

thats on BB.....he coached scared down the stretch

but he is still the GOAT......so i give him a pass.....on to next year

i love you guys

Stop saying us like the Pats are your favorite team, they are not. Just f***ing own up to being the troll that you are.

Don't kid yourself. He wasn't much when he was healthy, either.

I know who won the SB last year. Our mutually favorite team won by way OF AN ALL TIME GREAT QB PERFORMANCE.
Are you comparing our defense with Denver's??
The Denver D beat an excellent Steelers team and then took on the top 2 offenses in the league and shut them down in the 2 biggest games of the year. This is all with an offense that basically doesn't even pretend to be NFL caliber. I think they are BETTER than any in the last 16 years simply because they win games almost assuming ZERO contribution from the offense.
Our defense has luxury of knowing its offense will put up 27 points in a down week.
Big difference. A laughable one.

Welcome to the harsh reality of the salary cap.

The days of a team having the league's best offense as well as the best defense are long gone.

Welcome to the harsh reality of the salary cap.

Explain to me how the Bronco offense being impotent has anything to do with the cap?
They have 2 receivers that rival any duo in the NFL. They have a solid OL, 2 good RB, and a serviceable TE. They suck because their QB can't throw beyond 5 yards.

"If we beat the Jets, Eagles or dolphins I'm partying with Rick Ross right now. That hurts" - El Pres

He isn't taking this well. Me? I am fine. I didn't care who won. WOuld have preferred CAR but..oh well

You are not being realistic, but I'll write it off to the frustration of tonight's game.
