Congrats Broncos Defense for winning the SB.

As good as their defense was, some of the breaks they got all year long were just unfathomable

I can only think of one silver lining...

How do you think it feels to be a Colts fan right now?

Or, better yet, a member of the Colts management?

Yeah, their D truly made the Panthers O look stupid.
But it doesn't help that Cam lost Brown and then Benjamin being out the whole year...so it kinda sucked for them.

But anyways, gotta give credit to that Offense.

Man. They won it as a team.

What an evil evil evil satanic season this has been. Pats don't get redemption for deflategate and Manning gets credit for being a Super Bowl winning quarterback despite his dog **** performance this season. The media will have the Manning biggest ball washing off season comparing him to Elways fairytale final Super Bowl season. It will be unbearable and won't stop until late into next season.

I knew the Panthers would completely choke. They got so full of themselves after their NFC Championship blowout win. They were our last hope to stop the travesty. Screw them and their dumb as rocks, egotistical, self centered, choking quarterback.

They earned it, they deserved it. I don't like them, but their D and special teams performed all season long and when it mattered. Congrats.
See above. Denver's D was awesome. Manning, however, sucked. This does nothing for his legacy. This was one of the most insignificant quarterbacking performances in Super Bowl history.

Von Miller and Demarcus Ware are probably the most ferocious pass rush pair on a Super Bowl winner in 20 years.

Peyton Manning probably did the least in winning 2 rings in the history of the NFL.

This is painful watching Manning win the Super Bowl ESPECIALLY knowing how awful he really was and how much was attributed to the defense.

I can't believe this day has come..........

Last year he fizzles out at the end......he has a terrible performance in the playoffs and we all think he's done.

He comes back and it's clear he sucks......throwing interceptions left and right......finally the Chiefs put him out of his misery by sending him to the bench.......we all think "well, that's it......the last we've seen of manning. he's the worst qb in the league right now"

.........now fast forward to today....he's a Super Bowl Champ

how crazy is that?

I mean, props to him and hte Broncos.......we all scoffed at the free agency tactics and their decision to stick with Manning.......but it worked........man, this sucks

I respectfully disagree that this does nothing for his legacy.

I know some might think this is blasphemous to say, but the Tom Brady that won Super Bowl 36 is not the Hall of Fame Tom Brady that we all know and love. He was an inexperience game manager at the time. When history looks back however they just look at him as a four time Super Bowl winner.

Just like Peyton will be looked at as a two time champ. There will be no 'ya but'.

The best team didn't win the AFCCG or the SB. Pats blew it, just as Brady said to Jeter. If we get these guys in Foxboro next year, it won't be any different from the previous few games where we've beaten them handily.

The Panthers will collapse next season. Healthy next season with hopefully a better O-line and running game (come on Belichick, Brady's going to be 39. 50+ passing attempts shouldn't be the game plan 75% of the time!) the Patriots will be the most balanced team in the league.

At least we can say it WAS the Broncos defense. Manning didn't do **** this season or playoffs and it can't even be argued. I'm still amazed that Brady nearly beat that defense twice with pretty much no healthy weapons or O-line. He's still the best, regardless of the Superbowl.

EDIT: Oh, and I almost forgot: F*ck you Rodger!

I never said anything about Manning. Jim McMahon sucked, Trent Dilfer sucked. Manning's performance may be one of the worst for a winning QB ever, but the rest of the team was so darn good that they could overcome that. C'est la vie.

I agree, but the Broncos won't care, they got the one that mattered the most. I know we are all trying to make ourselves feel better about it, but let's face it..........this sucks.......damn, and I have shovel snow tomorrow. what a sucky night

To me, the most frustrating thing is all the talk that the AFC Championship Game was only to decide who gets crushed by the Mighty, Mighty Panthers.

The Broncos' D is awesome, but the Pats at least were competitive. Watching this game sucked on every level imaginable.
