yippie get to listen to the mediots try to say that manning is greater than Brady because he is now 2-2 in the SB and had arguably the worst game for a winning QB
You know I don't think this will happen

Good night all. I'm not up for a night of Manning sack sucking. It's Andy Griffith for me!!

That's as painful as losing the SB. Hope the Patriots soaked that one right up and motivates them for next year. Gave one away.

Manning Dilfered into a Super Bowl. As unfortunate as it is for the Patriots, they only have themselves to blame for giving him this opportunity.

If the Patriots had done a choke job like 2010, I'd agree with you.

But given the number of injuries they had (Brady was literally the only player on O to play all 16 games, and Butler was the only player to play 90% of snaps on D), I just can't really be that angry.

Wait the SB was today? I watched the new OJ Simpson show instead...

Goodell kicks back, puts his feet up and lights a cigar. He picks up the phone and dials a number back in New York. "Yeah," he says. "Mission accomplished. Kill the Manning HGH investigation. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!"

I'm unbothered.....
Agreed....don't really care. Lame performance by Newton, lousy Super Bowl.

Pats will be back next year, and there will be another great Super Bowl. You're welcome, America.

Between watching 2 movies and watching some of both the Kitten Bowl and the Fish Bowl, I watched a grand total of about 4 minutes of the game, and I think I saw every key play except the dropped pick 6 (I was out at dinner at the time).

I'm pretty sure God decided to screw with my Sunday night and is in heaven giggling his ass off at me.

he's 2-4

Hey at least Lynch didn't get into the endzone last year. Imagine how bad that would hurt right now.

Manning in his 2 SB wins:
61-38-388-1-2 for a 72.3 passer rating

Don't get me wrong, I agree what the Patriots did, in light of all their injuries was phenomenal but the reality is they gave away multiple chances at short FGA in Denver.

What this result also goes to show me is the hose job the officials did on the Patriots in their first match-up had very serious implications for the AFC down the stretch.

In hindsight not surprising. Why not surprising?
(A) Carolina was showing a severe lack of maturity even as they racked up the wins. They were a team with little PO experience acting like they were PO invincible.
(B) When Cam can't do some damage with his legs therefore is forced to be a 100% pocket passer, it should be surprising to no one the offense would suffer significantly. That simply isn't his forte.
(C) Considering what Denver's D did to the Patriots O (thanks again OL!) it isn't surprising to see them shut down the Panthers. Shutting down the Patriots = you are extremely capable of shutting down anyone.

Good news! Don't listen to the "we;ll see if he retires", this was the last time we will have to hear media fawn over Manning in a playoff or any other NFL game. He got **** lucky to go out with a SB win,. He's done and got lucky. Bottom line: Great career, absolute HOFer, gave us some excellent Brady v Manning game watching over the years, all in all a very distinct positive for the NFL. Congrats to Manning now he can go strap his feedbag full of hay on --- then go away :) :)
