It is. I am just saying that laws against witness tampering wouldn't apply in this case. He wasn't a 'witness'.
Right. I understand your point. Im just wondering if a crime was ever committed here. Has there been any mention of a prescription written for Ashley Manning? If not I would think the DA for wherever the Manning's live would be looking into this.

At the very least, it's impersonating a police officer for the two clowns that showed up at Sly's door.

Peyton has a history of throwing people under the bus.

1. His offensive linemen
2. Scoreboard operators
3. Drug Dealers: Sly, Guyer
4. Liquored up Kicker. (thanks for the reminder @Jackson 2 )
5. His Wife.

I drove by Mile High Stadium the other day and saw this sign posted at the entrance so I guess they were warned.

If this is to be believed (and I believe it), then this is witness intimidation. That's a felony. If they can tie that directly to Manning, he may have much bigger problems than just the NFL to worry about. He could look at prison time. Naturally, nobody cares about this. It's Peyton Manning. He makes cool commercials.

I could be wrong about this but, I think it only could be "witness tampering" if Manning was or was going to be criminally indicted and Sly was a "witness" in a criminal case against him. I don't think anything with Manning using HGH would be illegal (by itself) so I don't think "witness tampering" fits. However, the PI's hired by Manning impersonated cops and that should be a pretty big deal. Now we just don't need to know if Manning took HGH. We really need to know if Manning instructed those PIs or even just knew they we going to impersonate cops. Cause I imagine that's some sort of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. Which is in itself a felony.

And worthy of a serious investigation by the authorities...not the NFL, the real authorities about whether Manning instructed the PIs to do it or even knew about it. Manning himself may have committed a felony! I don't know how the cops would go about proving Manning had any role in the "Impersonating" stuff. But the police wouldn't just take Manning word for it that he didn't have anything to do with that.

An investigation would open up the can of worms a little further whether or not it implicated Manning.

It seemed like the story stalled a few weeks ago but it looks like it just got a whole lot juicier.

How long before Sly's sister recants her statement because she was trying to impress the 911 operator?

Don't forget his "liquored up kicker..."

Meanwhile "Johnny Football" is now "Johnny foot upside his wife's head..." crickets (although Peterson and Ray Rice got "integrity'd".)

NFL*gate.

did Johnny Foozball deflate his girlfriend's head?..No?...so...WHAT'S THE PROBLEM???

If this was Brady 80% of the country would be acting like he set blaze to a hospital newborn nursery

Can you imagine if Jastremski had said to Goodell, "I'll talk to you, but only after I consult with Brady's lawyers first"?? That's what Sly did, saying he'd only talk after consulting with Peyton's attorneys.
