patriots are terrible at drafting wr

Perhaps.

Then the issue is the coaches are able to develop young receivers.
I think it's just harder to get a younger player up to speed. If he doesn't get on the right page earl, he loses confidence. Thats my opinion. A guy like Edelman had to work from the second he got into the league. You could make a case that some of the other guys we have had were more highly regarded coming out of college. So what is the effect of questioning ones self when things don't click right away in college. The qb and the system are tough. To your point, maybe some criticism could be levy towards the staff in not being able to know exactly what each guy does well and focus on that. Or, allot of the guys we have taken have stunk..... Except for the small white running qb and a couple others.

Logan Ryan is a Nickel? Clearly you watched none of the game this season..

No he was the patriots two corner

But what I was saying and clearly stated in my post is that with his skill set he does not fit that roll with his skill set he is a nickel corner like he was in 2014 he is a 3rd corner at best I am not a fan of Logan Ryan never have been.

Malcolm
Butler is more talented and has a much higher upside

Many teams have had success throwing Ryan's way he struggles in pure man coverage and struggles in times where he had help from the safety

Its crazy in 2002 we had 2 good wr picks in branch and givens. In 13 drafts since weve had one good pick, edelman, and wasnt he a qb at the time?
