Q: Roger, Do you satisfy your wife in the sack?

A. Well, as you know we take constructive criticism very seriously. We have gone to great lengths to upgrade policies, standards and procedures to ensure the integrity of our sex. We've spent countless hours asking questions, getting feedback and improving how we do things. We always want to do better. Safety is important. Conduct is important. We want to be competitive. We want to get it right and are comitted to do so without compromise.".

Rumor has it that's where the obsession with "deflation" originated.

"In the end, player safety is of paramount importance. I'd have to put that ahead of my own performance and any personal satisfaction I might get from the activity. Plus the shield is where it is for a reason and we all must do whatever we can to respect and protect the shield.

"What was your question again?"

More on this later but ...

In February 2017, just prior to the Patriots appearance in Super Bowl LI, we should organize the first annual Roger Goodell Press Conference Party. The epic lunacy and idiocy of this event should celebrated (i.e., mocked) in grand fashion at an appropriate gathering place with fine food and drink.

Members of the local sporting press would be welcome.

It will be like Groundhog Day except the animals can talk.

How does Goodell suffer from CTS when he's never played football?

I watched it live. I swear he actually said:
"I played for 9 years in high school."
Not surprised.

Highly appropriate considering Goodell's parentage.... (edit: and your avatar)

"We're not going to wait for Science" - about concussions.

We already know you don't wait for Science, fraud.
OMG! Does he not realize how absurd that is, given his response to the initial reports on CTE?!?!?!

I'm perplexed. Who's the greater fool? Goodell for his "nine years in high school" remark or you for actually watching the press conference and then admitting that you watched it! I have to think about that one. :)

It's the first one. I was at the gym on the elliptical.

So... Brady is the supposed mastermind of a cheating scheme according to the NFL's latest brief.

Goodell just now on Brady's suspension if they win the appeal: This isn't about an individual player, it's about our rights under the CBA.

o_O
I read that as: "This isn't about whether we were right on the facts...it's about the fact that the CBA says I can do whatever I want, right or wrong."

Mike Silver called Goodell a genuine person. :po_O
Another guy I'm sick of. But he's wrong again. Goodell is a "genuine" robot.
