Goodell after a head injuries question: "There's risk in life. There's risk of sitting on the couch"

LMAO.

Is Roger the dumbest millionaire in the U.S.? Second dumbest?

I forget the question after Curran's plea for making the PSI results transparent which (Roger Dodger avoided answering) but the very next question (I forget what it was) Teflon Rog said (paraphrasing). "When we have those results we will be transparent with them.".

Idiot.

These are so obviously planted questions. What a joke. It's all propaganda. Reading from cards....
I didn't watch (working on anger management). But, did they have a little kid ask a cute question for Roger like last year?

Apparently the risk of sitting on the couch is that your brains turn into Roger Goodell's.

We got a kick out that in the robertweathers household.

Of course I'm sitting on the couch watching this and the kids are walking around listening....

"Whats the risk of sitting on the couch? Will you get butt sores?"

"Dad, you better get up...Sitting on the couch is hazardous to your health."

"Maybe I should wear a football uniform when I sit on the couch.".

"Maybe a couch needs seat belts and airbag protection"

"I think I want to roll up in bubble wrap and sit on the couch."

don't you think the couch comment was a little unwise heading into superbowl sunday?

Seems like a missed opportunity from Curran.

I would have asked, "When the NFL rejected Tom Brady's appeal, it claimed that Brady said his calls to the equipment manager did NOT touch on the subject of the deflated balls. Yet when the judge in New York released the transcripts of the Brady interrogation, it was clear that Brady told NFL investigators that he discussed the deflated balls in those phone calls. Both of these can't be true. Which one of these statements is true? Which of them is false? And how do you account for the discrepancy?"

Reporter: How are you doing today?

Goodell: As you know, we take the integrity of the shield as the utmost importance every day. It is important to me to make sure every day plays out fairly for all 32 teams. No player or team are above having a bad day. It is goal to make sure as many players and teams as possible have a good day.

10 year old girl asks Goodell if she can make the NFL someday if she practices hard.
Goodell: Yes

o_O

Does Roger know something we don't? Or is it that he doesn't know something he should?

LMAO.

He's right. This was many years ago, but, one time, I was sitting on a couch, watching TV and eating popcorn. I went to shift how I was sitting and pulled something in my back.

While I learned that there is risk everywhere, I overcame my fear and continue to sit on couches to this day. :D
