Love Homefront ... I only play FPS games and that's a decent one.

It reminds me of Turning Point:Fall Of Liberty on the 360, a really cool concept (TP was if the Nazi's won WWII and started to invade the USA) but the gameplay was ok.

So ***IF*** Peyton's first call from scrimmage is NOT a safety, we will have a competitive game?

I hope the broncos miss an xp on the first td and failed a 2pt conv on the final drive

Our team should be in this game. Smh. I don't think the donkeys are this good. The panthers should win by two tds or more.

This is true. The better team did not win the AFCCG. That happens sometimes, but luckily, not most of the time. So the Panthers definitely should win this one fairly comfortably.

Denver finished ahead of the Patriots in playoff season. Denver also beat the Patriots twice, and they did it once with Manning and once with Osweiller. So, you can insist that the Broncos weren't the better team all you want, but the way the season played out says you're wrong. As the season went on, the Patriots got weaker as a team. By the time they played the Broncos (week 12), they had already started their downward spiral on offense, and the Broncos, even with a major QB problem, were the better team.

Deus, I get what you are saying, but the Pats almost won that game. Without a muffed punt and a series of B.S. calls/non-calls they do win it.

And without a missed XP and/or taking the FG on 4th down, they win the playoff game too.

What happened, happened. The Patriots, after starting 10-0, finished the season going 3-5, including the playoffs. The Broncos, meanwhile, have won 4 straight, and are 7-2 in their last 9 games, again including the playoffs.

Denver was the better team.

First, the FG claim is speculation at best, and idiocy at worst. Second, the XP claim is, again, speculation at best, and idiocy at worst. In neither case is it clear that making that change would result in a Patriots win. So, you're 0-2. Given your error rate at the end of the season, that's about par for the course.

Panthers. By more than the spread.

The only way I see the Panthers losing is if "the moment" is too big for them and they fall behind by two scores at the beginning. This is a team that likes to build big leads and hold on for dear life.

Good News: People outside of Carolina will start to hate the Panthers more than they hate the Patriots.

Bad News: The Patriots team that lost to the Broncos two weeks ago wouldn't beat these guys. If they fixed all the problems that that game exposed, maybe they'd have had a chance.

No way we can claim that we should be in the game after losing to them twice, with a different QB each time, in the regular season. But, you're right. The Panthers will win by more than the spread...and the team that showed up and lost to Denver two weeks ago would have done the same, unless they found a new O-Line in the last ten days.

That's a speculation inside an hypothesis inside a hope.
We lost.
We have to live with it.
The better team on the field won. If our D hadn't played an extraordinary game, the score would have been a lot worse.

Given your error rate on predictions you've made over the years, your posts shouldn't (and aren't by most people) be taken too seriously. But you already knew that.

In the AFCCG, changing the outcome of either play swings the game in NE's favor based on the flow of the game, and quantitatively, their in-game win probability would have vastly increased (and would have outweighed Denver's.)

Both offenses sucked. Both defenses played well. The game was decided by 2 points, in large part due to a missed XP by a guy who is usually money. The team, as a whole, was certainly better than Denver. If Gost makes that XP, NE goes into OT with all the momentum and with Denver's offense playing like it doesn't even belong in the NFL.

We see it differently. That's all speculation. What happened, happened. You're twisting yourself into a pretzel trying to explain how the outcome could have been different. It's a waste of time and mental energy.

No wonder people call us Pats fans "whiners." Get over it.

Do what Brady has done and start the countdown to SB LI. All the hoping and explaining and speculating won't put us in this one.

I don't have to start any countdown or start preparing for SB51 because I won't be playing in it.

The better team loses on occasion. It's part of football. I have gotten over it, but that fact won't change.
