Do you think Brady still attends SuperBowl 50? (ceremony to honor past MVPs)

I'm disappointed that since the Patriot team won't be there that he would go to any NFL functions.

You really shouldn't blah blah blah over the only relevant part of your post. It's a message board, people give their opinions. Relax.
Sorry but with all Bradys had to endure, and for all the joy he's brought to us,for me to read all these sanctimonious comments on what he SHOULD do-it pissed me off. How about instead-"whatever Tom decides I support 100%" Are you saying you don't agree with that?

tom will also be at the nfl honors show with goodell??? i hope he enjoys being ridiculed by the host for goodell's/the leagues amusement.
tom will also get booed loudly by all of the bronco/panthers fans...

tb12 should stay at home...with his family. **** the league

this is so disappointing.
If its not bothering him why are you feeling disappointed.? He has endured more than fans think they have endured.

I think you make a good argument for why he shouldn't attend.

On the other hand, there's a fine balance between that issue, representing the team, appeasing the fans and possibly even sponsors in business related matters, and solidifying his place in NFL history since it's a historic championship game in SB50. After all, he doesn't want to come off like Roger Goodell on opening night, hiding in the shadows.

I think he's damned if he does go, and damned if he doesn't go. That's all we'll hear, about how "arrogant" Brady is that he didn't even bother to show up. Bummer either way.

I think its an event that he should be a part of due to its historic significance, but at the same time I don't think you can trust the league and media to be respectful and will probably just go right into deflategate discussion, the court case etc while all the cameras are on him, as they enhance the audio on the "Boos" coming from haters in the crowd

The mystery is over: Tom Brady will be present for Super Bowl MVP pre-game ceremony Sunday. No Deflategate protest. Good move by him.

Didn't read this before I posted above, but my statement still stands... I hope the NFL and the networks have the decency to show him the respect that he deserves amongst his peers of all time greats in this league

You serious dude? Get a grip. Thats quite the overreaction.

In any case it is Tom who has been viciously attacked by Goodell and his cronies, not us. He knows what the best option is for him and I trust that.

True. But I bet the boos will be heard. I dunno. I'm torn. Guess it doesn't bother me either way. I'm not him.
Yea. Y know if Tom didn't feel right about it he'd stay home with Gisele, crash on the couch and watch Cartoon Network

I am all for him giving the NFL as many FU's as he can. But he should go to this. This is a whole different animal. To me, not going to this would just be perceived as pouty. Let them know how many MVP's you won.

It could be worth it for Tom. If he has the opportunity with Goodell to taunt him and say that he kicked his ass in court, calls him a number of colorful names and says that his wife was lame in bed the 9th grader in me thinks that would be really cool.:p

And it seems that he is going. I think not going to this would've only hurt him. This is a good move.

He won 3 Super Bowls before the current dink blew his way to Commissioner so there's that. Plus, his family is from the area. Why hide? Look right past the haters.

I don't understand why anyone would be disappointed in Brady. He EARNED THIS! EARNED it! Why should he let the NFL take this honor away from him too - NO WAY. This is about his accomplishments. He's the greatest player of all time and he's representing the NE Patriots.

He's our guy and he's the best... and that is AWESOME!!!

Whatever decision TFB decides I will support 100 percent.

If he goes he goes, or if he decides to snub I am ok with that too...

In the big picture here people, think, why would Brady subject himself to this?.......will he be booed by some fans whose teams he has bested so often? Maybe, It won't matter a bit.

Brady will be there because, he knows , you know, I know and every single other NFL fan, even if they don't even want to honestly admit it to themselves, know. Brady is better than every other player on the field with him.

Game, set match.
