NFL refuses to issue even a temp press pass for El Troublemaker.

When I was a stock analyst, one of the companies I followed tried to stop me from doing so. They eventually had security drag me away from a meeting at the Plaza Hotel.

When next I saw the CEO, I thanked him for the major boost to my career.

So that "reporter" from Mexico who is more of a model/TV personality than a sportscaster gets to ask Brady to marry her. Prez who knows about sports, is out ?
lol pres doesn't have sports knowledge. every stoolie has arrived at that conclusion a long time ago. he has extensive knowledge of deflate gate, tho...

but believe me- from what he's shown, he knows very little about the game of football and about any players not on the pats.

still, someone as important as him in the sports entertainment business should be there

Snoop was there asking questions ?

Maybe he will go and create a ruckus?

I have no problem with this. Portnoy isn't "press" or "media." He's a ****ing know-nothing clown that, for some reason, people on here want to legitimize. All he does is make actual intelligent NE fans look horrible by association.

Portnoy needs to start mooning NFL office people ...

As P.T. Barnum once opined "There is no such thing as bad publicity". Barstool couldn't BUY this kind of attention, and if I was him, I'd be riding it into the next level of business acumen. Make tons of press releases about it and flood every news station, every paper, and every website with the story, and then follow up. This was a dumb move by the NFL, but then, as long as Goodell is in charge, you can expect these sorts of amateur actions.

I'm not a fan of Barstool by any means, BUT, having run my own businesses and two large non-profits I'd like to think that even someone as low on the business totem pole as me can see what a stupid PR move this was by the NFL. If that helps to put more heat on Goodell and his thug monkey front office, then fine by me.

didn't know where else to post this...

anyone think felger actually kind of beat dave in the debate today? As much as I side with dave, felger is actually doing well here
Barstool Casting Couch Featuring Mike Felger

Didn't listen to the whole thing but Felger has been stuck on a text message and a bathroom trip the whole time. He says he read the report which means he read the conclusion and none of the Exponent attachment.

So basically he believes:

1. A report that was "independently"created by Wells BUT edited by people who were admittedly ignorant of the IGL. This report was purposely framed up in a way that made an offseason text message and a bathroom trip 'nail in the coffin' facts. A lot of people would still be in prison if circumstantial evidence outweighed the DNA of a case.

2. A report in which the scientific analysis was performed by a well known hired gun for big industry (Exponent) and whose conclusion was "generally aware" of a nefarious scheme to release an average of 0.23 psi from twelve footballs.

3. A conclusion which has been debunked by numerous distinguished physicists and supported by none, unless you consider Bill Nye the Science guy your pillar of expertise.

The only thing that could have happened if anything at all was that he went into the bathroom to check the pressure which has nothing to do with trying to gain a competitive advantage. IOW they may have made sure that the balls weren't being tampered with by the league. OR he took a leak.

The NFL allowed, although they never admitted to refusing, JJ and McNally back to work. Was this because they were trying to buffer their odds in a possible defamation lawsuit?

NFL banned Portnoy ...
