Kessler is giggling like a little kid on Christmas morning.

Thank you Bob for supporting this POS and his minions since 2007, surrendering draft picks and allowing the destruction your teams reputation.
To the person who disliked what I said and failed to prepare a response. I say have the courage to defend the actions of Kraft regarding Goodell since 2007. I promise not to dislike what you say.

every time I read another article like this, it just makes me even more angrier that Kraft caved like a little *****.

We will never know what really went on during that owners meeting.

My fairy tale goes like this:

I choose to believe that at the time, Kraft thought he was doing the best he could to help out his QB, even at the expense of 1MM and a couple of draft choices.

I also believe the fix was put into play out there and Kraft was totally lied too. His fellow owners turned their back on him as they still had leftover bugs up their butts over spy gate and also seized this opportunity to get back at the hated arrogant BB. This was their way to tuck to Kraft and maybe even Goodell at the same time (majority of owners to this day felt Goodell in bed with Kraft).

Goodell brokers a deal with Kraft. Kraft leaves thinking its all set, his QB will be goes away during Rogers press conference. Ten minutes before the cameras go on the owners spring it on Roger and Kraft that its NO DEAL and the rest is history. Just look at the body language from Kraft that day, look at his face, listen to him....that's not the confident leader of NFLmownership that day. That's a guy who just got plucked over, big time by his goo has, from Jerry Jones, to Richardson, to the snakes from Giants - The freaking Maras, oh hell yeah, that sounds to me to be much closer than Kraft sold out his fan base and star QB. Seriously.

We will never really know, but it's just not a simple F U New England from the guy that saved the team from leaving in the first place.

I really do think that is what happened and when Kraft considered litigation vs the NFL the Jerry Jones, McNair, Mara and Rooney crowd used Bob's own words against him and "encouraged" him to be a team player.

I'm still thankful Bob owns the Pats and lets BB do his thing but man he really proved himself to be a gullible fool.

Its funny. I watched, "Aladdin" with the kids the other night and its almost like.....

The Sultan: Bob Kraft
Jafar: Goodell
Aladdin: Brady
Iago: Kensil
Genie: Kessler

Oh, no question, they sure did get him.........

I live the Aladdin deal there, funny stuff.

Finally someone in the media says what I've been saying all along

What remains is this most likely scenario: that NFL officials, completely unaware of Ideal Gas Law, believed that any New England football that measured below the minimum of 12.5 psi in the AFC title game was proof of orchestrated tampering. Anything in the 11s was proof of a massive conspiracy. In fact it was all a natural act.

  1. Ignorant of science and overwhelmed by confirmation bias, the NFL embarked on an effort to nail the Patriots. Then, via leaks to favored reporters who were as prejudicial as they were false, the league found itself too far out on the limb to climb back as facts came in and theories fell apart.

All it could do is point to random text exchanges and nicknames, and hope the public was too naïve to question it, too scientifically ignorant to comprehend it or too bored to still care.
It would take someone with real integrity to put a stop to it, unfortunateley there's no one like that in charge in the NFL

all you have to know is it was Mara repping the owners in one room and the NFLPA in the other that "attempted" to come to a compromise agreement that never really took form.
It's been Mara and NY money interests all along screwing Kraft and the Patriots at every turn. Goodell is just the moronic catspaw taking the brunt of the heat for this ridiculous farce. This HAS to end in the whole sordid mess having its' lid ripped open and a complete forensic investigation done by the appropriate federal agencies. Mara

Still no guts to defend your position. I can only assume you are in favor of the relationship between Goodell and Kraft and support the his decisions.

Just saw this from Chris Price and NESN:

Dean Blandino said the NFL is still "evaluating" the PSI information, and ooook then. http://nesn.com/?p=567158

Looks like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing..

I would think that it's a no brainer for Kraft to greenlight about a dozen of the same measurements (obviously not in game situations.... imagine the controversy if Pats' staff were measuring air on the sidelines).

I fully expect that one side or the other will come forward with evidence justifying their side. It's one thing to admit to something you didn't do in the name of politics, but when there is an opportunity to prove you're right, you have the opportunity to do what the NFL is doing and not incriminate yourself with your own evidence.

I am relatively supportive of Kraft compared to most of the forum, but if he didn't bother to do this, his actions speak louder than his press conferences. He doesn't have to go full Al Davis. Just reveal the results and make it loud.

Never go full Al Davis!

I dislike your agenda and have said so many times. I agree Kraft caved unnecessarily and deserves criticism for it but doing it in every post in every thread regardless of whether that's the topic or not is really annoying. Your position is well known so you don't have to beat everyone over the head with it in every post.

If that's the case, then as that happened , Kraft should have told Goodell to shove it up his ass, and gone full nuclear on the NFL.

Kraft instead put the NFL ahead of his own team. That cannot be forgiven.

I respond only on threads related to the actions of Goodell and the loss of draft picks as a result of the bogus violation and the craven capitulation of Kraft. I do not and will not post my opinions on unrelated topics. I would like nothing better than to stop posting and congratulate Kraft when he stands up to the POS and demands the picks back or even shows by his actions that he is not back as Goodell's whipping boy. In order not to annoy people like yourself who have at least the guts to respond to me , I will self impose a moratorium for the remainder of the month on criticism of Kraft. Maybe he will show the Pats fans that he actually cares when he team is being screwed and is willing to do something about it..

There is this thing called cutting off your nose to spite your face. You do something to damage the NFL and it ultimately hurts the Patriots.

I don't think you have to stop having that opinion, and most of it it's justified imo, I just think that you should keep it in context and keep it to threads relevant to it. 90% of Patriot fans, at a minimum, share your outrage over getting bent over they just don't need it hammered into them over and over

Since the NFL established the ball-testing plan, scientists around the country have been waiting to see how the league tried to spin its way out of Ideal Gas Law, which has been accepted fact since 1834. It seemed like Goodell was walking the league into a trap.

Apparently the league won't even try to fight it and just hope no one is paying attention.

Wow. Wetzel laying a brutal beatdown on Goodell & co.

I stand by what I said. I just hope that Kraft who in my opinion is a good person but a detriment to the team and its fans now does something to prove me wrong about his relationship with Goodell.
