Bruins 2015-2016

I read on a scroll on the NHLN that Pasternak was sent to Providence with Koko, so maybe that's a good sign that he just needs time there to get in NHL shape. The Bs need him to add scoring depth to the top 3 lines; they've been relying too much on the top 2 lines.

I still feel that, his hat trick in PitsDirt notwithstanding, Vatrano needs more time in Providence to develop NFL-calibre strength. He is extremely easy to rub out along the boards, and isn't explosive enough to compensate for his lack of strength there.

And for the love of Ganja, get Game-Killer Kevin Miller (and/or tRot-man) the feck outta the lineup and replace him with Joe Morrow. Seidenberg is experienced enough to play RD with Morrow at LD.

The B's are currently one of the top scoring teams in the league. Pastrnak should add more of the same. Vatrano is doing what a lot of the other Bruins should be doing- keeping it simple, shooting and going to the net. Methinks this will surely translate into more scoring. Hopefully, it will catch on. And he seems to be doing alright with Spooner. In fact, I noticed Jimmy Hayes was moving his legs more..a good sign.

I loved Miller last year, but notice that he's taking a lot more penalties at the wrong times this year. And I like Morrow. Regardless, Claude must see something that has Miller getting the ice time.

Today, I was reading an article where Ferraro was breaking down the NJD game. Wow! That kid knows exactly what's going on out there and can break it down with the best of them. And that's a huge part of the game...he's a natural at understanding that stuff..obviously from his pedigree (i.e. being Ray's son). He's another young player who is turning the corner at the right time.

I'm curious to see how the lineup pans out when Pastrnak gets back.

Whenever Pasternak returns to regular-shift health, I would like to see tried:

Marchand - Bergeron - Hayes/Ferraro
Beleskey - Krejci - Pasternak
Eriksson - Spooner - Connolly
Rinaldo/Vatrano - Kemppainen/Talbot - Ferraro/Hayes/Randall

or:
Marchand - Bergeron - Hayes/Ferraro
Belesky - Krejci - Connolly
Eriksson - Spooner - Pasternak
Rinaldo/Vatrano - Kemppainen/Talbot - Ferraro/Hayes/Randall

Slow, weak & impotent: It's Called Ruins.

Another one-goal "effort" (snicker) by the Ruins. Pathetic.
Spooner couldn't finish a 5-on-5 opportunity if his life depended on it.
And what the Feck is Kemppainen doing centering the 3rd line? Unless he is injured, Koko should be centering the 3rd line, so the front office can finally know what they have there.

6-2....so up and down...

They might as well stay on the road; they are not mentally tough enough to withstand the scrutiny of the home base.
Usually, it's the other way around with teams, e.g. the local American Football club

I have been to 6 games so far this year (including the winter classic) they are 0-6 at games which I attend. I am attending the Buffalo game on the 6th...oh boy...

1st game 6-2 loss .............. let the rebuild begin because there are going to be more of these.

My wish for the season is to trade any veteran assets that will bring a haul of young talent.

On that note ... it's going to be a long season - do the right thing Don Sweeney.
Bump .... like I said ...

The only untradeable IMO Pastarnak - Miller - Bergeron and trade either Subban or Rask ...
There are others some deem no trades but they are up in years so trade them if the return is very good to excellent.
Trade only for young talent or high draft picks.

Have fun

It's unbelievable how poorly this team performs at home relative to the league's other contenders.

The Bs must be so proud of themselves, barely squeaking by Buffalo with 2 one-goal wins, in a shootout and a gift OT penalty shot.

Unless another top-9 Forward and top-6 RH Dman are added, these guys are one(series)-and-done in the POs, if they even get in the POs.

Wow. What an absolutely pathetic, disgraceful "performance"(snicker) last night.

Kevin Miller the Game Killer and Zach tRotman have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that neither of them are NHL-caliber defencemen on a true contender, or even a pretender like the Ruins.
Both of them are totally feckin clueless.

they play better on the road...so this road trip...just stay there and never come back please

good response after that **** show vs kings....they are so much better on the road..love that they have another 5 in a row on the road

And by the time the road trip is finished, they should have a fairly good idea about what to do as the trade deadline approaches.
Bergeron, Marchand, Krug & Colin Miller should be the only untouchables. Rask too I suppose; I wonder if San Jose would've accepted Rask instead of
Martin Jones in exchange for their 1st-rounder. The results would've been more or less the same, and the cap savings would've been awesome.
