Dan Wetzel:NFL's missing data on air pressure is another black eye in deflate-gate saga

Maybe next year, a local high school or college team could do their own testing. I think that would be eye opening. All documented as well with video and the rest.

Thats what pissed me off about ESPN/NBC and all . They couldve done their own unofficial test. They didnt care to. Except when declaring pats guilty.

Wow. Hmm...

So, if the NFL was willing to do this, perhaps they were more fearful of the truthful release of the data than they were of the speculation that they were covering things up under this ridiculous notion of "spot checks."

Somehow, this may be a decent outcome for the NEP. Not saying it returns the picks, but it demonstrates that 1) they weren't lying about there being nothing to this nonsensical accusation (which was blown amazingly out of proportion) and 2) that Goodell is a pathological liar (reinforcing what we've said all along).

Hopefully the MF'er will have this blow up in his face and he'll be shamefully fired.

Maybe another "shoe will drop".

Failure after failure and Goodell is still allowed to keep his job by the owner$. It's truly astounding.

Not just keep his job, but be paid $44M a year.

BTW, Kraft is one of three on the commissioner salary committee. They're all laughing all the way to the bank.

the goodell decade's been very good to the nfl --- none of them give 2 craps about any of this

btw, where were those stories coming from last week about the nfl 'maybe' releasing data this week?

ps

how much $$ does new england funnel into the nfl's pockets?
talk is cheap

It's been very good for the bu$ine$$ but not the NFL. Cuban is right. At some point, the NFL will eat itself alive and you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be with the same grossly incompetent fool at the helm.

and by the time that happens what will their bank accounts look like?

Unfortunately, there is absolutely zero evidence whatsoever to lead one to believe that such a thing is happening anytime at all beyond wishful thinking.

Therein lies the problem. Taking things for granted is the surest way to lose them. Given the NFL has, year on year, sucked my enjoyment out of the NFL, I can't say I'll give two ****s about the sport once BB and TB12 hang up their boots.

This was a chance for someone like Volin to really make a name for himself. Imagine running a twitter feed where he will measure an NFL official football before the game at Gillete, at half time and full time.
Produce the results, challenge the league or the Patriots on the results. He will get a massive following. But he wants to stick to googling and calling the wrong police stations.
