nfl now supposedly didn't collect any PSI this year

this story and the Marshall Faulk whining about being cheated out of a Super Bowl story are making my blood pressure SPIKE.

Is there a new story about Faulk whining? You would think, after doing this for 8 years, someone would tell him to just let it go, because it's sad and stale.

I'm not even saying to use facts and reality to convince him, just go with the angle that it's not good for his overall health to keep obsessing over this.

Surely there must be more than one owner who is tired of this dope as commissioner right?
LOL, why? They're the ones who wanted all of this!!!

"Pleased to report there were no violations this year"

Taking long deep breaths to calm down before My head explodes...

Well, there's nothing "new"'about it, but yes, he did his annual Super Bowl whining today. It's become another Super Bowl week tradition. Like media day or the NFL Experience. They should sell tickets.

My favorite part is how he can segue into that stuff from *anything*. I mean, I can almost understand how he goes there when the Patriots are in the Super Bowl, but it's hilarious how he can take any question and turn it into his usual rant.

He was literally asked his thoughts about the Rams leaving St. Louis, which he brought around to turn into an his anti-Pats rant

Screw Goodell & screw Marshall Faulk!

WHERE IS MY SCRATCHING POST!!!

When Goodell said three were no " violations" that means there were no balls under 12.5 PSI.
I say B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T!!! I guarantee that by halftime of the Seattle-Minnesota playoff game played in near zero temps......the PSI was well below 12.5..... which is why they switched out the balls at halftime and likely didn't measure them....
How does this guy look at himself in the mirror?..Please, just one real journalist, ask Goodell to explain the Ideal Gas Law and let him swing with his answer....he likely still doesn't understand the science...

********.. They did and they didn't like what they saw..

Here's the thing - we like to mock Goodell like he's stupid for not knowing that footballs effectively deflate themselves in the cold (he is stupid, but that's beside the point)

But now he knows that - and of course wouldn't think of releasing any PSI numbers (even if he falsifies them at this point he knows he'll be caught if his OWN numbers are shown to be a lie)

So let's not waste any more letting anyone believe that Roger Goodell isn't fully aware of the fact that he's framing Brady - and that he has ABSOLUTELY no problem unfairly making Brady out to be a cheater, when Goodell HIMSELF knows that isn't true

I can't think of anything more detrimental to the league than a Commissioner such as that, as well as the owners who pull his strings

Roger Goodell Is A Pathological Liar – But We Already Knew That

Translation: The data in no way supported our preconceived notions. We need to minimize this.

It wasn’t a research study. They simply were spot checks. There were no violations this year.

Let that sink in for a minute.

The audacity, the arrogance of that statement.

The league devotes a big section of its August Operations release to outlining specifics of the procedures that will be followed, including the note that all reports are due into the league office by noon the day after the game.

But according to Goodell, this was no research study, it was just spot checks. Meant to be a deterrent.

There were no violations this year. A bold-faced, pathological lie, given all that we’ve learned about the Ideal Gas Law this past year, and the NFL’s insistence that it simply doesn’t exist.

Roger Goodell vilified Tom Brady by leaking that he had destroyed his phone, insinuating that there was important information on it that would’ve made Brady look bad. Today, Roger Goodell essentially confessed that the league has destroyed data that would’ve made the NFL look bad.

Are they ever going to stop lying and what is it going to take for the public to realize that the Patriots were set up from the beginning ? It is time for Godell and all his cronies to be fired ! And Bob needs to get his draft picks back !

Haters are going to hate no matter what. Anyone with true intellectual curiosity interested in making an honest determination regarding the Patriots innocence or guilt would want as much data as possible and have these numbers made available.

It blows my mind that the commissioner of the NFL falls into the former category, not the latter.

Florio also takes this apart:

NFL blows chance to fully understand football air pressure

A full and complete analysis of the footballs in 2015 may have helped the league get to the truth. Which may have prompted the league to restore New England’s draft-pick penalty and rescind its fine. Which could be the main reason why the NFL opted not to learn everything there was to learn about PSI behavior during the 2015 season.

Wow, I thought they would just **** with the numbers to tell the story they wanted. Never even occurred to me that after months of saying they would be recording measurements, they'd just come out and say they didn't after all. Guess the numbers didn't tell the story they were hoping for.

no

they could obviously rig numbers to show whatever they wanted.
if the pats had progressed to the sb they'd be releasing some nonsense right now.

Jeez...I'm shocked
