Here is the thing. 90% of the media and country will just accept what he said "no violations" and further kill brady.

I hope during his press conference on saturday, someone puts him in his place.

Jeez, at this point Goodell's been so bad that freaking BEN VOLIN is questioning him. BEN VOLIN. What's next, Ron Borges and Bill Belichick engaging in a full injury report song and dance routine complete with synchronized swimmers?

I don't see what in that quote contradicts what we already knew. We knew the testing this year would be random. I guess they can call it a "spot check" if they want. We also knew it was unlikely we would ever see the results.

Kraft should ask to see the data and have Goodell explain his findings. This is just another example that deflategate was a sting operation. Kraft needs to step up and fight for his draft picks.

Unfortunately that ship has sailed, any momentum died after he did nothing but vent after Goodell's appeal ruling.

I wish I had a word to describe how pissed off I am.....

And I'd betcha anything if the Pats were In the big show there would be some fabricated report showing the Pats guilt just to drag them through the mud again.

I can't believe Kraft supports this clown. Disgraceful. I'm so done when Tom and BB retire.

"protect the integrity of the game..."
What does this guy actually want to say with that phrase? Ridiculous!

Its a tactic used by liars, politicians and marketing companies... he railroaded Brady to weaken the Patriots and sour public opinion of him and the team even more. The sheer irony in pieces of garbage like Goodell and Vincent repeating the word "Integrity" over and over again as if it has any meaning whatsoever in their corrupt little ******** world is so comical that its depressing.

That smug look on Goodell's face every time he makes public statements makes me want to vomit... He knows he's completely full of ****, but will continue to parrot the phrase integrity over and over again as if he's some noble knight, but in reality he's a crooked executive running a BS operation in the NFL front office that he has used as a weapon against the Patriots twice now since he became Commissioner, both times being UNPRECEDENTED levels of punishment... and there was no proof of guilt for the Deflategate stuff, Brady was put in a position where he had to prove he was innocent to a lynch mob that Goodell and his cronies had created, convincing them he was the anti-christ... they were in such a frenzy that they completely ignored and continue to ignore LAWS of Science, which have been proven repeatedly by professors, scientists, students and companies with precise data that can be repeated again and again thru the scientific process with the same results.. some of whom are Nobel Prize winning level scientists, who's credibility is unequivocal...

Its so infuriating and tragic to watch.. including his backhanded compliments.. "Oh Brady is terrific, I know him personally and how great of a player he is... but I must protect the INTEGRITY of the game and make sure everyone is playing by the same rules."

F*** OFF FRAUDELL! What he has done to the Patriots and more specifically to Brady is CRIMINAL. Yet nothing will happen to him, and that's really frustrating to come to terms with... that life isn't fair and guys like that just do whatever the f*** they want, to anyone they want, without consequence.

Here's an article explaining why they do it, from a pyschological perspective:
The Illusion of Truth - PsyBlog

Here is a copy/paste if you don't want to click on it:

Repetition is used everywhere—advertising, politics and the media—but does it really persuade us? Psychology studies reveal all…
We see ads for the same products over and over again. Politicians repeat the same messages endlessly (even when it has nothing to do with the question they’ve been asked). Journalists repeat the same opinions day after day.

Can all this repetition really be persuasive?

It seems too simplistic that just repeating a persuasive message should increase its effect, but that’s exactly what psychological research finds (again and again). Repetition is one of the easiest and most widespread methods of persuasion. In fact it’s so obvious that we sometimes forget how powerful it is.

People rate statements that have been repeated just once as more valid or true than things they’ve heard for the first time. They even rate statements as truer when the person saying them has been repeatedly lying (Begg et al., 1992).

And when we think something is more true, we also tend to be more persuaded by it. Several studies have shown that people are more swayed when they hear statements of opinion and persuasive messages more than once.

Easy to understand = true
This is what psychologists call the illusion of truth effect and it arises at least partly because familiarity breeds liking. As we are exposed to a message again and again, it becomes more familiar. Because of the way our minds work, what is familiar is also true. Familiar things require less effort to process and that feeling of ease unconsciously signals truth (this is called cognitive fluency).

As every politician knows, there’s not much difference between actual truth and the illusion of truth. Since illusions are often easier to produce, why bother with the truth?

The exact opposite is also true. If something is hard to think about then people tend to believe it less. Naturally this is very bad news for people trying to persuade others of complicated ideas in what is a very complicated world.

Some studies have even tested how many times a message should be repeated for maximum effect. These suggest that people have the maximum confidence in an idea after it has been repeated between 3 and 5 times (Brinol et al., 2008). After that, repetition ceases to have the same effect and may even reverse.

Because TV adverts are repeated many more times than this, advertisers now use subtle variations in the ads to recapture our attention. This is an attempt to avoid the fact that while familiarity can breed liking, over-familiarity tends to breed contempt.

When repetition fails
Repetition is effective almost across the board when people are paying little attention, but when they are concentrating and the argument is weak, the effect disappears (Moons et al., 2008).

In other words, it’s no good repeating a weak argument to people who are listening carefully. But if people aren’t motivated to scrutinise your arguments carefully then repeat away with abandon—the audience will find the argument more familiar and, therefore, more persuasive.

This suggests we should remain critical while watching TV adverts or the message will creep in under our defences. You might think it’s better to let the ads wash over you, without thinking too much, but just the reverse is true. Really we should be highly critical otherwise, before we know it, we’re singing the jingle, quoting the tag-line and buying the product.

When the argument is strong, though, it doesn’t matter whether or not the audience is concentrating hard, repetition will increase persuasion. Unfortunately I find it’s often people with the best arguments who don’t repeat them enough.

Persuading groups
When people are debating an issue together in a meeting, you can see a parallel effect. When one person in a group repeats their opinion a few times, the other people think that person’s opinion is more representative of the whole group (see my previous article: loudest voice = majority opinion).

The same psychology is at work again: to the human mind there is little difference between appearances and truth. What appears to be true might as well actually be true, because we tend to process the illusion as though it were the truth.

It’s a depressing enough finding about the human ability to process rational arguments but recent research has shown an even more worrying effect. We can effectively persuade ourselves through repetition. A study has shown that when an idea is retrieved from memory, this has just as powerful a persuasive effect on us as if it had been repeated twice (Ozubki et al., 2010).

The aspiring sceptic, therefore, should be especially alert to thoughts that come quickly and easily to mind—we can easily persuade ourselves with a single recall of a half-remembered thought.

Kraft should ask to see the data and have Goodell explain his findings. This is just another example that deflategate was a sting operation. Kraft needs to step up and fight for his draft picks.
I feel bad for anyone who still thinks Kraft has any balls to stand up to the commissioner. Roger could punish us again over nothing and Kraft would accept it again.

There is no hope as far as Bob and Roger are concerned. Remember it is about the "good of the 32", not just the Patriots.

They didn't like what they saw..so they threw it all away. League of integrity

It really is time for someone in the media to actually show some fcuking balls and take the NFL to task.

Everyone in Boston and surrounding area should tweet

@nfl
#NFL Fraud is worse than FIFA

Another transparent and clumsy attempt to publicly defame Brady and the Patriots. Citing the need for a "deterrent effect" in order to protect the so-called integrity of the game is doubling down on a now widely discredited set of bogus accusations and and is a gigantic F__K YOU to the Patriots.

Is Bob (Mr.) Kraft paying attention? Hey Bob - guess what. You're taking it in the shorts once again from your $44 million per year buddy "Roger."

Commissioner Scheisskopf should be forced to look up the word integrity in the dictionary and then resign. He is nothing short of a disgrace to the game of professional football and his malevolent stupidity is only outdone by his greed and preposterous sense of entitlement.

How can each and every one of the 32 idiot members of the Billionaire Boys Club not be utterly embarrassed to have been publicly taken to the cleaners by this dishonest stooge? What a f--king joke.

You gotta love how Goodell is consistent in giving complete non-answers and BS in questions he doesn't want to answer. Eisen asked a simple question if he has spoken to Tom Brady and Goodell replies with his standard "integrity of the league", he has to answer to 32 teams, every player has to follow by the same rules, and he has great admiration for Brady. What he didn't mention is the actual answer to a simple question.

I now have to listen to the interview to see if Eisen did what everyone else does and let's him spew crap rather than give answers and never follow up and force him to answer the question.

So Rich Eisen did not ask him if he had any contact with Tom Brady again? The guy ignores your question and you let him get away with that.

It is not like I had lots of respect for Eisen, but the little I had is now gone.
