Moss Welker still on the team coming off a record breaking season 18-1 nothing to be ashamed of even though that loss hurt you cant say if Brady would played in 2008 that there would been any significant drop off hell they went 11-5 with cassel with Brady at the helm 15-1/14-2 record easily and would would of beaten the cardinals imo

I like cheese.

Madden says so

We would be up to 7 in a row going for 8 now.

No 5 rings going in 6 if we win SB in 08

I wish we cheated harder. 38-0 baby.

Yes and no. Welker and Moss at their peak...Brady coming off a record-breaking season...

But here are the cornerbacks on the Opening Day roster:

The team might be good enough to make it to the SB (like the 2011 team), but the team was by no means as strong across the board as in 2007.

Fun fact, if we had won Super Bowl 42 we would have opened up the 2008 season on Thursday Night playing a team that's not the Chiefs, meaning Brady never tears his ACL.

Wait, that's not fun at all :(

You know we were also guaranteed a win in Super Bowl XLII if the Giants didn't score a touchdown. Interesting to think about it.

No question about it...

Bernard Pollard, David Tyree, Mario Manningham and yes Mike Carey literally stole away 3 more Superbowls. We were that Effin close to 7 rings, and I'm not kidding...

On the flip side, we won the other 4 on the skin of our teeth.
