Sports Illustrated questions if Pats taped Rams in 50th Super Bowl Special Issue Magazine

Really what the ****? How is this not the story? Takes one to know one Rams. Titans should wonder if they were spied on.

lol the Titans were only in that Super Bowl because they literally stole the Jaguars playbook. Like, they've bragged about it openly.

Has anyone forwarded this to Patriots.com yet? I smell a letter from Kraft's lawyer... :)
Are you kidding? Kraft has demonstrated repeatedly since 2007 that he would capitulate to any bogus charge brought against his team to please his good buddy Goodell and his beloved fellow owners. That's how the Pats were robbed of two number one draft picks and had the teams' reputation destroyed.

So I guess SI is still in print. And crap like this is why I haven't read it in over a decade.

31 other fanbases eat it up, so why would a national publication not use the Cheater stuff as a hook? It's not like they are reporting it as fact, just speculating on it. I think you folks need to get over it. They're just trying to make a buck like everyone else.
True. I have a guy here at work who barely knows football who was educating another colleague that patriots are the worst when comes to sportsmanship -"that guy belichick will do anything to win" .

They did it to the Ravens the next year as well, but it wasn't enough to beat them.

Did they find the suit while they were at it? That probably would have been enough to beat them.

The Ravens defense that year was soooo good that they literally didn't require a gameplan or coaching. They could get by with sheer talent.

how about lawyers?

I breezed through one at a dentist appointment last year. It was lying on the coffee table next to a couple of People Mags and a few Dr. Seuss books. Should have read Dr. Seuss. Green Eggs and Ham is such a classic.

To me, this really is the start of the Ati-Pats smear campaign, and the fact that this shred of proof that the league was involved should have warned of us what was to come. The problem the Pats have is that there is no accountability for the scum from the higher ups, neither in the league office or the media. Roger wasn't even in office when this happened, so, where did he learn it from? Tags stepped in during Pay-to-Injure-Gate, and there was a lot more proof in that case. Where was he during any point of the Patriot-gate scandals? We all know that Bob put his stick away, but you can't tell me that Myra wasn't carrying a big one from within during that time, so the respect the other owners thing is moot.

Bottom line to me is: If the media can create a story that creates a story against the Patriots, the world will be against us, including the league we reside in. There is no defense for us, not even from within.

After last years SB after having drank about 12 beers post game (didn't drink during the game) I was kinda drunk & ordered the Pats SI package after seeing the commercial - the cheap windbreakers, the football & the cheap bound SI issue...I think I've read maybe 1 issue since I've gotten the subscription...
