Victor Cruz anyone? The Giants will make him take a large cut. Perhaps a deal can be made and sign for reasonable? He is coming off back to back injury years but is dynamic if he is healthy.Use to be taboo talk in NYC. Sign here as a prove it?
Same pick up after CAP cut or Trade Scenario but he is healthy is Mike Wallace on the run-first Vikes.
Mike Wallace. Only 29 and not a Vikings style fit with he or the Team. Not small at 6' and 205lbs.
RotoWorld "It's a no-brainer. Wallace isn't worth his $11.45 million salary and it's unlikely he'd take a pay cut to stay with Minnesota. The 29-year-old should fare better in a more pass-oriented offense" Check box? .......Pats? Would he be willing to work with us for a two year incentive ladden deal?.....that is if he is cut. Or would the Vikes do a sign and trade with us? Speed?........ Check!
He is still averaging almost 60 catches per season on the anemic Miami and Minn. passing game for 3 of those.
LaFell comparison. Lafell 6'2" and a 36 vertical with 4.54 speed. Wallace is 6' with a 40" vertical and 4.3 speed. So Wallace has a 2" advantage on a jump ball and only 6lbs less than LaFell. Wallace is lightning fast. LaFell has drops. His hands are actually small. Wallace has bigger hands. Will it translate if the Pats can get him? Who knows. At least he is a take-off-the-top threat.
Thoughts?
