Is it just me....or is there zero SB hype?

I dislike either team, but from a pure football fan perspective, should be a hell of a game.

I'm totally with you guys, it's gonna be a boring Super Bowl this year. But posts like the ones above make patriots fans seem to belive big Roger is to blame for our loss to the broncos. I'm pretty sure he is happy like a little baby we didn't make it, but its our fault. We had it in our hands, so stay classy.

My point is more towards his vilification of the Patriots organization and two future hall of famers. He could learn a few things from David Stern. You promote your stars, you don't try to destroy them needlessly.

The NFL is a one team show and the league has made sure of it. The court case will grab more attention than the Super Bowl.

no brady

no interest, he is bigger than the league!

If they matched up well..i would agree.. i just see a slaughter like most..aka no fun..i'll watch...but i don't care one bit another any of it

I agree, the Panthers should win it comfortably but I don't think it'll be a slaughter. Denver's D is legit.

While I agree that the Patriots are responsible for their own demise, the events of the last couple of years, and the last 12 months in particular, have made me conclude that there is absolutely nothing out of the realm of possibility when it comes to the unethical and illegal things this league's commissioner and office might do.

I know I could care less about it. It didn't take me long at all to get over the loss either. The NFL and Roger Goodell have done that to me.

I'm curious to see the ratings after the game next week. It will be interesting to see if no Patriots makes a difference.

It took me the week. As an out-of-towner, I got a few snide comments at work. I really don't have any Pats fans around me for mutual consolation. I think listening to a weeks worth of D&C and Dale&Holley has helped.
I wish I could say that I "care less" about the SB. In middle America, if Peyton wins...there will a largely held belief that he is the best ever. The last thing I need for my piece of mind is for Peyton to win his last rodeo and that's what the non-Pats fans will cling to.

I'm looking forward to the halftime show.

Hopefully the game will be over by then.

I'm in New York metro.. almost no hype here. People assume the Panthers will soundly defeat the Broncos. Nobody here really cares. Most are relieved the Pats aren't in it because the Super Bowl will be "stress free" this year.

Funny....bet the NFL didn't want the Pats there...but said..." you know how much more we would make with them in it..."
They partly have themselves to blame. If Goodell didn't have his refs take the win away from NE in Denver a few months ago then the game is NE and the team hears the snap count.

Ratings would have been so much higher if we were there, like we should have been.

This SB is a love fest. The media loves Manning and is anti-Pats. The media was harsh on Cam the last few years and looks stupid so they are afraid to say anything.

Ratings are ALWAYS higher than the year previously. And this being SUPER BOWL 50 ALL HAIL THE NFL it'll draw even more. But it would have been higher with the Pats yes.

The world will still watch...just like all of us will still watch

You've got me for mutual consolation.

It's funny to see all of the Steeler fans come out of the woodwork ("jump" out of the woodwork) once DEN won the game last week. Meanwhile, they just lost to the same damn team a week earlier! That's the mentality around here. I'm being totally serious when I say that almost every single person on my social media feed posted the most asinine memes and ridiculous comments. All the whos in whoville were overjoyed at the thought of seeing Brady and the Pats lose.

They're disgusting. In my opinion, the worst fan base in the league. Totally classless (aside from a couple of good posters who come here), one-sided idiots, represented by the "super genius" himself, Mark Madden.
