Is it just me....or is there zero SB hype?

I'm in Tampa and it's like no one cares. Zero hype is right.

The Pats are the straw that stirs the drink. Let Goodell get some ****ty ratings this year so it hits him in the pocketbook and maybe he'll start rethinking trashing the best thing that's happened to this league.

Fans love or love to hate dynasties.
Every Super Bowl the Pats have been in has been a dramatic nail biter.

Let's watch HGH get annihilated 55-10 and see how much people enjoy that.

You have to give Goodell credit. The Pro Bowl or some event could be a great marketing opportunity, but it was basically a dud before he destroyed it.

But the Super Bowl. Who would have believed one incompetent could destroy what used to be the greatest spectacle in sports?

Not to mention the court battles as every London draft pick gets a lawyer to make the case why it's really not fair they have to live in Europe.

Maybe it will cause the draft to be ruled illegal so the Pats can let every other greedy team spend their whole cap on 3 players, and we clean up 20 available free agents every year.

Wait til they try hosting the Super Bowl in London. That's when I riot.

The fans are rabid here in Durham-Raleigh NC. Just kidding. Do you think I should tell somebody there's a game?
Hey, in today's N & O there's a cut-out 3-D Panther Pal!

How%20to%20assemble%20your%20Panther%20Pal

I know not in NE...but i know other fans or see other fans talking on twitter and message boards...just nothing there. CAR small market like you said ect.

Nothing here in Tennessee, at least Nashville. NHL all star game here though :)

How dare you? Why, just a couple of nights ago in Durham, a fella in Food Lion mentioned the Panthers. People are AMPED UP! Plus, Kroger keeps putting out flyers about "Making the best side dish for the big game." Doesn't get much more rowdy than that!

Outside of NC and SC...that's it for the main market of fans. Pats fans have NE...and so many others based on winning in the past

And they can thank CT for that Stanley Cup.

When you pause to think that last year at this time news about the Patriots was major international headlines over football air pressure, it's truly comical.

There's us, and then that's about it.

You summed things up perfectly, without the Pats, the NFL would be a pretty boring league...

The media seems to be latching onto and force feeding us this total non-story of Cam Newton being a victim of racism because he is an African American quarterback. It shows just how desperate they are for a narrative since this was never mentioned with Russell Wilson, Colin kaepernick, McNair, etc.

The parade and a week long celebration of all things Manning and Elway have already been planned here in Denver. I cannot wait!!
"Be still my beating heart" ... as they say ... but I think you'll be okay .. no parade.

I'm totally with you guys, it's gonna be a boring Super Bowl this year. But posts like the ones above make patriots fans seem to belive big Roger is to blame for our loss to the broncos. I'm pretty sure he is happy like a little baby we didn't make it, but its our fault. We had it in our hands, so stay classy.

You nor I have any idea what truly goes on behind the curtain. I wouldn't be so sure of your statement.

If only there were just some kind of scandal the NFL could fabricate to keep this interesting!!

Not implying anything about our loss, we got exposed. I'm sure implying that his torturing of our QB and team for months and penalizing them unjustly trying to promote teams in cities that don't care, is resulting in a total anticlimax of a game.

All that bubblehead needs to do is roll out the ball and he's got the most marketable product in sports history, the NFL. Talk about screwing up a one car funeral.

Let's remember, if Goodell sits in his office and does nothing, we have the Patriots and Seahawks coming off the greatest Super bowl ever, both in it again, a fresh exciting team almost going undefeated and even Forest Gimp coming back from injury well enough to at least put some points on the board.

But what were the storylines? Courtroom BS, lies and corruption, pitiful officiating and the commish's hand selected comedian in charge. That thug on Cincinnati running around, probably roided up, trying to hurt people, Suh continuing to do so.

Integrity my ass. I'd take competence.
