I don't really see it...anywhere. Or hear about it from other fans. Hell ticket prices and suite prices at the stadium crashed once the Pats lost. I bought a pepsi bottle today that had SB 50 on the side...the hype i am seeing

Well, there's no hype in New England for sure. Maybe it has something to do with Carolina being the favorite from a small market. Just a guess, but I'll bet neither the Denver or Carolina fan bases will necessarily be flocking to this game.

I know not in NE...but i know other fans or see other fans talking on twitter and message boards...just nothing there. CAR small market like you said ect.

Too many people are just content/happy to see Tom Brady and the Patriots not having the possibility of winning another one. Whether Carolina wins or Denver wins does not matter as long as New England isn't in it.

I have tuned out most sports news after our game. However, this week is kind of dead (unless the league is deafeningly quiet issuing notifications of wrong numbers being reported about football inflation).

Next week should be more hype, with Media Day and what not.

Because no one really gives 2 sh*ts about this game except (1) a bunch of stoned hillbillies; (2) an extraordinarily small fanbase in Carolina; (3) Papa Johns; (4) Nationwide; (5) the Manning family.

Unfortunately I live in the bay area so I have been trying to avoid local sports radio.Wouldve been awesome if the pats were here..but alas.

If the Pats were in it..the world outside of Pats fans (including us) would watch to see them hopefully lose. Ratings..prices ect would be through the roof. Now it feels like this SB is just meh. Manning vs Newton isn't a story line. But 17-1 vs Brady or Car vs Pats II ect

Plus i think most fans see this as such a once sided game. Not really a close match up. Look at Denvers O last week...it was nothing. CAR D is just as good if not better right now than ours.

Same here I actually live in San Jose de minutes away from the actual stadium. From what I've seen there's more hype on the Warriors than the Superbowl

I live in NC, and there's a fair amount of hype here.

If the Panthers were to win, it would be really weird.

It would be the strangest thing to the sports scene here since this:

Outside of NC and SC...that's it for the main market of fans. Pats fans have NE...and so many others based on winning in the past

All the Super Bowl Brady played on were down the wire classics, not 43-8. Its just not exiting this year.

Funny....bet the NFL didn't want the Pats there...but said..." you know how much more we would make with them in it..."

For one thing, the Broncos are still talking about us and how they beat us. ESPN is still talking about us as well. I think all will go into overdrive next week.

I don't know why people are so against small market teams though..

Denver is an undeserving AFC representative. If Carolina doesn't lay an egg and they play to their full potential, the game shouldn't be close.
