Not true, Gronk is the highest paid TE still by average annual salary and his extension was 6 years $54m / $16.5 guaranteed.

Gronk also tends to break and snap at twice the rate of Kelce....

He's pretty much said that he doesn't care... he doesn't touch his football money.

I don't think he'll feel threatened that another TE makes more than he does. He knows he's the greatest of all time already. Once he retires, he'll have 100 million dollars just waiting for him.

kelce has played 32 regular season games
gronk has played 80 regular season games (his first 32 were also without injury)

And he's worth all of those yearly numbers, but I'm sure they can lower 2018/19 if they wanted to do another one.. no point in even thinking about extending or redoing Gronk's contract until the 2018 offseason though
