I was just watching the News & they showed a picture of Belichick who is already at the senior bowl scouting talent.

He was talking to Bill O'Brien in the picture.

I don't see Belichick retiring for a long time & I expect him to pass Shula & hold the all time win total for a coach before he retires.

He needs 105 to catch Shula & in 10 years he will bypass that record.

Belichick no longer has a nagging wife & his children are grown with one currently on the staff.

Football is Belichick's life & without a major health issue, I bet he breaks Shula's record.

Mini Gronk .... Glenn Gronk gets a Belichick interview tonight --- love to see that.

Glenn Gronkowski to meet with New England Patriots - NFL.com

But could there be room for two on one team? Kansas State fullback Glenn Gronkowski said he has a meeting scheduled with the New England Patriots for Wednesday night, the team his older brother Rob nearly willed to victory Sunday in the AFC title game (eight catches, 144 yards). The youngest of the Gronkowski brothers has been practicing at tight end, fullback and H-back this week in preparation for the Reese's Senior Bowl (Saturday, 2:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network), and would like nothing more than a chance to impress the club.

"That would be awesome. I've actually never played with any of my brothers before," Gronkowski said. "They've always been too old for me. ... Everyone else has played together, so to be on the same team, that would be a dream come true."

Arrogance, what a douche .

I wish BB would coach the Patriots forever, but he turns 64 this year. He has stated he won't coach into his seventies. I'll bet he bows out sooner than later.

We'll see, when you're 50 coaching to 70 sounds silly. When you're 64 and still enjoying it then it doesn't sound so silly, health permitting, especially as you move up the all time wins list.

With no #1....BB looking for.....

He is not going to get the cream of the crop where we are drafting thanks to Bob and his buddies.

Here's my guess: four more seasons, making it an even 20 as Patriots head coach.

That may not be unreasonable. Say he won 11 games in each of 4 seasons that would get him to 3rd all time in regular season wins.. The problem then is that he'd have a long haul (on the order of 50) to reach Halas at #2. So I think he'll coach long enough to pass Lambeau and Landry but the top two will be just a little distant.

I just hope when BB does finally retire, he writes a scathing memoir on the antics of Rog-Jet, and his cronies at that front office in New York. You are looking at a best seller, and it would be his chance to finally express his side of the stories with those contrived "scandals" of Spy Gate and Deflate Gate.

I would, literally, give a year off my life for that to happen. Unfortunately, they all seem willing to "play the game" and I expect nothing but politically correct nonsense to ever be said from Kraft, Belichick and Brady.

It would be huge. It would be fascinating. It would be hilarious. There would be no reason for "it is what it is" or sucking air through his teeth to stop from saying what he really thinks at pressers.

Exactly, it would BB's chance to finally "unleash" and give his side of the story, without being "held in check" by "Shifty Bob", or have to deal with backlash from that cesspool on Park Avenue. There would be nothing either faction could do to restrain him.

I dont think he cares about records

I dont think he cares about records

Bill cares about football history !
Shula has gone out of his way to bad mouth Belichick & the Patriots.

If Belichick is even close to Shila's record at age 70, I have no doubt he will hang as much to piss on Shula's grave as to get the record.
