I would like to add the following in FA (realistic at cheap prices)
TE - Allen - strong blocking TE with solid hands. A better version of Hooman

Nice pick up! Under utilized in the passing game by the Colts or so it seems.

Talking about under-utilized, RB Lamar Miller and WR Rishard Matthews if you can get them cheap would be decent options. Travis Benjamin may be an option too.

Nice DE depth available ... perhaps Vinny Curry may be attainable but unlikely.

I'd be on board with another Miami to New England wide receiver success story. ;-)

Depends upon what's available and who actually makes it to market. Good time to start looking though.

No way around not getting at least an upper echelon potential WR like a Sanu. You can't count on the Pats drafting a WR with talent. Not in their DNA. Fleener might be another guy that can be the AH role player that worked well.
Anyone for a BB reclamation project? Justin Blackmon? Gordon (trade)?

Chris Given has speed and size. He is know by McDaniels.

I hear that sentiment a lot about the system being too complicated for a lot WR's. So this isn't to pick on you just my thought. If their system is so hard to learn why do they keep trying to pick up "projects' or guys who've failed elsewhere to somehow learn this hard system? I would think that if the system is that complicated I would rather put my trust into a star who plays the position at a high level like Moss then reclamation projects who couldn't make it in a easier system.

Does anyone have a list of potential guards that are free agents, I really do not want to look at Kline starting again next season!!!

if that happens, then cut him. boom
It isn't that simple. If he's here, you're investing time in building him into the offense, time that could otherwise be spent building someone ELSE into the offense, someone who isn't a hair trigger away from a lifetime ban.

My #1 is Arian foster, I think he would fit well considering how we wouldn't need him to carry the offense and Sharing snaps with white and Lewis would hopefully keep him healthy.

Check out the link on page 2 (last post, #40) of this thread Ashley.
Here are some FA Guards (as you can see below there are only a couple good ones but unlikely candidates) :
Does not include cap casualties or trade options. Not sure we'll be on the lookout for a big upgrade at guard due to having 3 or 4 (did Wendell retire?) already on the roster. 2 of them will be 2nd year players.
Jeff Adams, Houston Texans
Jeff Allen, Kansas City Chiefs
Mackenzy Bernadeau, Dallas Cowboys
Alex Boone, San Francisco 49ers
Brandon Brooks, Houston Texans
Chris Chester, Atlanta Falcons
Willie Colon, New York Jets
Tyronne Green, Carolina Panthers
Vladimir Ducasse, Chicago Bears
Ramon Foster, Pittsburgh Steelers
Michael Harris, Minnesota Vikings
Richie Incognito, Buffalo Bills
Ted Larsen, Arizona Cardinals
Ronald Leary, Dallas Cowboys
Joe Looney, Tennessee Titans
Lance Louis, Indianapolis Colts
Evan Mathis, Denver Broncos
Jacques McClendon, Miami Dolphins
Jamon Meredith, Tennessee Titans
Brandon Mosley, New York Giants
Kelechi Osemele, Baltimore Ravens
Austin Pasztor, Cleveland Browns
Manny Ramirez, Detroit Lions
Chris Scott, Carolina Panthers
Amini Silatolu, Carolina Panthers
Shelley Smith, Miami Dolphins
J.R. Sweezy, Seattle Seahawks
Johnnie Troutman, San Diego Chargers
J'Marcus Webb, Oakland Raiders
Ryan Wendell, New England Patriots

Totally agree and I wanted them to draft him much like you. My only reservation is that he's played in the easy to learn numbered route tree system or as I like to call it Ocho-Cinco-Dumbed-Down-Football so I'd want him to meet with Brady and see if there's some chemistry and if he can pick up the terminology.

This may be a knee-jerk reaction to Sunday, but I'm surprised how many people are asking for a big WR here. We HAVE the offensive weapons, and we've seen how good the Pats can be when there is time to throw.

To me the ONLY offensive priority is an OL upgrade, not only to protect Brady, but to allow the team to run at least enough to put play-action back on the table. You could almost hear the Broncos laughing the one time the Pats tried to sell play-action in the fourth quarter.

While I don't feel they need to run for 100 every game, this offense was much more versatile last season when they could put up 70 or so. I know people don't like Blount, but he averaged over 4 yards a carry and had 700 yards when he went down, even with this line blocking. He will be cheap to bring back, as well. I'd rather see the money to upgrade here spent elsewhere.

It's also hard not to watch Von Miller and long for that type of player. Jones had a good season rushing the QB but it's hard to see where he goes from here. Does he have the drive to keep getting better? We've seen time and time again good defenses beat good offenses. The Pats won 3 SB's with great defense, and won last year after a great stop when all hope seemed lost.

I personally believe Brady's time is limited, and the weight needs to start coming off his shoulders. The weapons on offense are good enough to win. The team has been building defensively the last two years, and I hope this continues to be their focus.

I know I didn't throw names out here (I don't know as much about who's available as some of you), but I feel these should be the priorities moving forward.

I saw a article saying the Patriots should target Josh Norman
LMFAO while he and Butler would make the best lockdown secondary in the NFL its not a top priority and I really like Roberts coming back healthy and thought we should of never IRD him.
Id have to say my number one target would be Calvin Johnson

John Elway as Hiring Manager

In a dream world , Matt Forte or Alshon Jeffery.

In a more realistic scenario I can see someone like Sanu and/or Foster.

I agree on Miller, Matthews and Curry. I have a feeling Miller might be out of our price range, but Matthews could be a fit.

offensive line is the first priority. then a RB. then a WR.

Jones is nowhere near the player that Von Miller is. Jones got caught with synthethic pot, so I suspect this wasn't his first time he did drugs. If so he needs to get his head straight before he can even think of being a great pass rusher in this league.

Cj is a dream! Would take way to much cap space. We have bigger holes to fill.
