This is disgusting..."Patriots fans" wishing ill will on Ghost and Cardinals on Palmer

For everyone blaming Ghost over 1 point costing us the game, just want to remind you:

Dustin Hopkins missed an XP in week 16. But somehow his team miraculously won despite the catastrophic way people are treating a missed XP.

Actually, so did the Giants even though Josh Brown missed an XP against the Bills in week 4. Same with Nugent of the Bengals in week 1. And Boswell with the Steelers in week 10. Heck, Kai Forbath missed an XP for the Saints and they still won one of their few games of the year.

Teams also lost games when kickers missed XPs. The Raiders lost a game by 7. It happens. But plenty of teams have won games so there's no reason to just give up in the first quarter after missing an XP. Not all hope is lost.

Even the worst kickers in terms of the new XP still won games. Jason Myers's Jaguars went 2-4 with him missing an XP in 6 games (including 2 in 1 game). But that's pretty similar to their record where he hit them all, as they went 3-8 in those. Meanwhile Dan Carpenter's Bills had a winning record in games where he missed an XP, 4-2 when missing, 4-6 when he didn't miss an XP.

What's that you say? Talking about a team's record based on XP success is stupid?

Exactly.

our guy missed an xtra point, their guy made a 52 yarder..difference in the game.

If you think THAT was the "difference in the game" then you don't know the game.

Gost made two FGs also.

Our OL was beaten like a rented mule for over 50 plays in that game and BB passed up a FG in the 4th that would have made that game a win on the last TD.

Why don't you just call the Patriots "cheaters" for Spygate and Deflategate. It's the same kind of mindless meme.

Fans who exhibit this poor behavior, are followers of Felcher, Borges, Tanguay etc. who love the attention, and do not understand this team..

They are trolls who don't understand football, like 3Birdman and Sambam94.

They probably don't even know what an OL Coach is, what he does and why he was fired within 24 hours of that game.

All they see is a stat sheet.

Or read Borges... thought I might take a hiatus from this place until things settle down and the Chicken Little dudes get erections because the Red Sox Equipment Truck has left for Fla..

This f....ing addiction to this site often defies commons sense..

people don't have enough balance in their lives.........then **** like this becomes too important

pity them......it's the same person as the deflategate hater........too many aspects of life unfulfilled

excuse me?..not sure why you felt the need to mention me, but you would be wrong with that assumption.

Post #45: "our guy missed an xtra point, their guy made a 52 yarder..difference in the game."

Did someone hack your computer?

A more lazy and ill-informed post (after all Gostkowski also MADE 2 FGs in that game that saw the most QB hits in the LEAGUE FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON and Brady throw for under 50% completion rate for the ONLY time this season) could not be possible.

Let me have a chance to defend my statement because it seems the salty people disagreed my post out of anger that we lost.

I didn't say anything non-factual.

This does happen every time a single player can be blamed for the loss. Ghost CAN be blamed-- he missed a shot he makes 99% of the time and the game ultimately came down to that particular play, that had he made it, Pats are probably in Super Bowl 50. He makes that, assuming everything played out exactly the same up until the 4th (and there's no reason to assume differently, as this was only an extra point), we kick field goals instead of going for it on 4th.

That game came down to that shank and there's nothing you say that changes it.

We won't even talk about that onside kick attempt.

I have yet to watch a game where a missed fg/xp hasn't cost a team something.

But it's ok. Any other day, or stadium, Ghost is money.

Slap yourself.

Might want to check my post history before you start calling out trolls "shmessy".

I was replying to the op telling him/her that this kind of bs happens all the time.

I've probably forgotten more about football than a greaseball like yourself will ever know.

It's always interesting when non-athletes try to pull the whole "you don't understand X sport" shtick. Doesn't work with me. I was molded to play football from birth, and I come from a football (and track, basketball) family. I've played offense (WR, RB, tiny bit of QB) and defense (CB, SS, LB) throughout Jr High, High School and a bit in College before I got hurt. Don't make the mistake of underestimating someone you do not know.

My point stands. Gost makes that kick, we're not talking about 4Head's legacy in a positive light. We weren't going into overtime. Last three drives are FGs and we shut the Broncos offense down completely.

That shank put more pressure on the offense to score those 8 points we needed. Sure you could say Bill should have kicked 3 times, but if we were only down 7, you bet your ass he would have kicked 3 times.

One more thing.

I don't agree with the firing of the OL coach: our OL players are the ones that suck.

They have sucked at least since the 2011 SB, when they made Strahan look like he found the fountain of youth. The OL problems have been mitigated (read: ignored) because of two things:

1. Tom Brady (and his ridiculous release)
2. Guys like Troy Brown, Wes Welker and Julian Edelman existing, basically making Brady's job easier.

I've been *****ing about the offensive line for years. We never pay attention to the OL and it causes problems over and over.

Why do you think Cassel played (besides Pollard being a cheap shot artist)???

If memory serves, it was because Kevin Faulk was suspended for that game and his substitute missed a block.

The guy is human and has been money for us. Shame on his team that they couldn't spot him one freaking point smh.

Rewatch that play (as tough as it is to watch).

Chiefs had a 4 man rush (at most), and we had 6 guys on the line there, 4 of them double teaming, letting Pollard right in so the RB had to pick him up.

Pollard being far bigger than our RB was able to drag him towards Brady's leg.

This is the image of the hit

#34 is Sammy Morris...6 foot, 220 running back

Pollard is a 6'1" 225 lb SS

THIS statement by you made to to appear as fact is actually erroneous. Pollard didn't "drag" anybody. Morris missed the block and Pollard clearly took a cheap shot directly on the knee joint.I'm not going to do any further work for you...look it up yourself next time you decide to go off half ****ed. You owe CT an apology.

Mate, actually WATCH the play.

Morris picked up the block, as he took Pollard's legs out. Pollard is bigger (stronger) than him and dragged Morris on his back.

Uncle is a huge Chiefs fan. I've watched this play a million times

Edit: lol I mis- remembered. He didn't take his legs out but he did force Pollard to the ground. Everything else I said sticks.

"Pollard being far bigger than our RB was able to drag him towards Brady's leg."

You either have a severe problem with 3D spatial comprehension or you suffer from "always right" disease. Pollard and Morris are essentially the same size. Morris benched 225lbs TWENTY THREE TIMES at the combine.Pollard benched 225 lbs EIGHTEEN TIMES. On planet earth, 23 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>18 and denotes the STRONGER player. You are wrong just as you were wrong about what happened on the play. Nothing you said stands. Admit it and move on.

He clearly didn't drag Sammy on his back. Sammy was to the side of him and Pollard had enough space to lunge (not drag) into Brady's knee.

Did I pork your wife or something??

Jokes aside, tell me which part I was wrong:

-Chiefs rushed 4, our line had 6
-OLine missed the assignment
-Morris actually picked up the block
-Morris was dragged by Pollard

Benching means jack **** when you're getting dragged, and on this particular play, Pollard looks like the stronger player as Morris failed to stop him from accomplishing his goal-- getting to Brady, dragging his (Morris') ass with him.

How about you watch the freaking play before you go off on a tangent?

so..it's "always right" disease, eh? enough for me...buh bye.
