I wonder if someone on the OL was tipping off the Broncos

sometimes it's the subtleties in this league that determine a winner and loser. something so innocent as a head bob on every play that tips off the broncos d line should have been adressed by the coaches. If this were the jaguars coaching staff I can understand. but my point was that this is very uncharacteristic of a belichick-coached team. WE are the team that usually pays attention to the details, not Denver.

I would put it on Stork and would guess it's either a new quirk or something they have been trying to break him, of because the Patriots self scouting is as good as it gets and they used the bye week, on self scouting. If it's being picked up, by TV or radio guys I can't imagine it is being missed by the coaching staff.

I agree with the criticism of the OL, they were abysmal, but they got to the AFCCG with them, I just think they were overmatched yesterday and outcoached. Much like the 2014 KC game it just snowballed. The Patriots need to make some serious improvement on the OL by next year at this time and out will have to be a combination of persone and development. I like Stork, Mason and Andrews but need to see more of Jackson to get a better sense of where he's at. That said they still could use a veteran interior OL to push them and provide insurance because relying on getting rid of the ball in under 2 seconds all the time isn't acceptable for a championship team.

Wow, Belichick must have been really unhappy with Digugliemo to fire him in a day, he just got Chris Hampered.

With Gooch now fired I hope that explains who was in charge of making that adjustment

Haha. Damn I didn't see that coming. When was the last time the Pats outright fired a coach in response to a sub-par performance?

No, their coach sucks, in fact most here could do better, just ask them. Hell you could do a better job.
Not to bag on you but this comment looks pretty stupid now that they fired Dave DeGuglielmo

This had to have been something brewing throughout the season, we can excuse some of the drop in performance due to Solders Injury ...but literally the oline couldnt block anoyone for the last half of the season. Losing Edelman and Lewis greatly exposed the oline. Ontop of everything ...one thing I noticed , players on the line not sticking up for Brady in piles, late hits etc... The line needs a player who chews glass imo and can slap a defense back (Mankins, Light , Neal)

The jets game I can't be too upset at but... The pooch punt vs. eagles and that first half vs the dolphins are hard to just shake off now. Unbelievable .

In Jet Game, we just scored before OT with some momentum and won coin toss so why not receive than defer? We had their Def on field and we have GOAT at QB to go down and get a TD or FG and if no TD play Def.

Sound ridiculous to me that the entire game Stork would give the snap count away and nobody would correct it, or use it to our advantage.
Just another factless report from feckless writer

Belichick agrees with you and fired Googs.

sounds like Stork tipping the snap count to the broncos was Goog's fault. he's been fired now.
I don't know if it was his 'fault' moreso than his responsibility to address.

The Pats lost to Carolina several years ago and after the game their players said they noticed Brady tipping them off on a run vs a pass IIRC.

On Brady's snap count and that helped them get to the QB... maybe it was something as simple as a head bob.

There was something wrong with the Pats' tablets in the first quarter. That was the Donks hacking our terminology for this game.

Also, HGH.

Oh well. At least we have the right to hoist a "participants" banner or something :)

What? Lol. I mean, Denver did use it to their advantage. That's how Von Miller was turning the offensive line into an EZ Pass lane. They couldn't easily adjust it because they had to go silent count, so they didn't bother. Feckless reporter; the evidence is on camera. What on earth are you even taking about?

Ware & Miller are jumping the snap on Stork's lower-raise head routine at center. Need to change snap count

This video sums up the game. I hope BB puts a lot of time into how he builds/coaches next years oline or Brady's career will be cut short. We also need to be able to move the ball on the ground come playoff time.

Andrews should have been the center

There was some Internet talk from some Denver player that they knew exactly when the snap would be. I don't recall the article.

Makes sense. If crowd too loud, you need some signal which Denver may have picked up.
