I wonder if someone on the OL was tipping off the Broncos

On Brady's snap count and that helped them get to the QB... maybe it was something as simple as a head bob.

They were getting huge jumps on the snap at times, to the point where it looked like they were almost off sides.

Douchebag was saying that Koppen was going nuts that Stork wasnt changing the count.

Haha, not sure which Douchebag you're referring to.

I heard on one of the 10am shows today that Stork was doing a head-bob that helped the Denver pass rush time the snap, but don't have any more information than that. Just like when a pitcher tips his pitches in baseball.

I don't know how a silent snap count works for the most part, although I've heard about it as a way to mitigate crowd noise. I didn't think about the defense timing the snap at all during the game, only read about it after the fact.

That's where the color guy could really help give insight into the game. I feel Collinsworth would have mentioned it. Phil Simms just herps and derps all day and doesn't teach anything to the audience. Can't believe that guy is the A-list color guy for CBS.

Ware & Miller are jumping the snap on Stork's lower-raise head routine at center. Need to change snap count

Felger is the D-bag.

Yea Simms is useless. He too busy teabagging Nantz and Manning.

This was also a problem when Wendell was under center a few years back. So it has survived two different centers and two different OL coaches. I'm guessing it's not quite that simple. It's also harder (I imagine) to change up snap counts and cadences too much when the crowd noise is as loud as it was.

Koppen said they could have changed to a long silent count but a lot of time lineman get messed up when they do that, he said its one of the disadvanatages you have to live with playing on the road. If they changed they would probably get them to jump off sides once but they would have it timed again. If they keep switching back and forth there probably would have been penalties on both sides.

in other words it came down to HFA.

That's embarrassing.

I hope the Panthers pay attention to this and don't make the same mistake.

Thought the same thing yesterday. Someone had a 'tell' that they picked up on.

Well .. That's pretty much what did us in. I really did underestimate HFA, I was spooked about going into Denver but thought this year we would be able to overcome it because Denver's offense is so awful (which it is). However, this proves how important home field is for these games. :(

Yep never again will I want to see this team in their current championship window go into Mile High in the playoffs.

Thanks for posting that, it neatly summarizes how the Broncos won, in 12 seconds. One of the most instructive football clips I've ever seen.

Wonder if the Pats coaching staff picked up on it.

It also shows how the fans can make a difference if they are loud enough, that was the whole game right there. Another reason why it's dumb to criticize fans for saying 'we' when referring to their favorite team.

Too bad Gillette Stadium isn't constructed to keep the noise in.

The real Too Bad is that this game wasn't in Gillette. I'll never underestimate home field again.
