With so many good young players that the Pats have to extend in 2017, it's tough to imagine BB getting any high priced FAs. I would expect a few reclamation projects and potentially a good guard. Most of the roster is coming back next year, and when healthy, there are few major holes. It will be difficult for any FAs or rookies to crack the roster, and you gotta figure at least the 2nd and 3rd rounders are pretty much a given.

No way around not getting at least an upper echelon potential WR like a Sanu. You can't count on the Pats drafting a WR with talent. Not in their DNA. Fleener might be another guy that can be the AH role player that worked well.
Anyone for a BB reclamation project? Justin Blackmon? Gordon (trade)?

Chris Given has speed and size. He is know by McDaniels.

blackmon no. gordon? only if he's cut.

gotta find a decent veteran guard. no idea who's available.

Just so you know the last time I saw Justin Blackmon he looked like he ate his way up to the Defensive Line he's not looking like a WR anymore.o_O

While we're on the topic of narcotics, Josh Gordon begs to be picked up....

It's unlikely that the Pats will invest heavily in a receiver that might not grasp the system. If the Pats were to sign a WR FA, it would likely be a reclamation project and almost certainly not a top tier WR that will demand big money.

Right. Cause you want to invest time in a guy who's liable to get another year long suspension five minutes into the season.

I was being sarcastic

If Josh Gordon was released, and the Pats didn't make a call, I would be livid.

He's not a bad dude. Just likes to drink and smoke. Yeah, I'd take a chance on a 24 year old stud receiver on a "show me, prove it to me" type deal.

Marvin Jones have what we haven't seen around here since Moss *Speed* and *Hands* I like.

He has outstanding body control and is a smart route runner.
