Hope BB/Brady can coach/ play at high level for another 5 years. Then, we might regress to Jets level. Enjoy every minutes, bro

This team will be back in the mix next year. Yeah, it sucks now but we had17 players on IR.

17

Let that sink in.

That's a death sentence to almost every other team in the league

I personally think Bills and Jets might actually be there in 16

AFCE has been a disgrace past 15 years. That has to eventually end

Bills probably not, they always choke, but the Jets, well its hard to tell but they seem to really be doing well...they might actually make the playoffs next year.

17 posts, all of them like this. Hmm I wonder if you are a fan or not...

Their run is over

The formula is now printed

We're still in the part of the run where the QB can carry the team to victory (Ravens and Seahawks less than 1 year ago). The part of the run where the defense and running game (pretty sure BB knows he has to get this part of the offense right going forward) carry the QB has not even begun.

5 more years easy (brady won't be amazing for all 5, he'll merely be damn good.)

Look at the join date. Hadnt posted until today. Must have made the account to troll on here if the Pats lost the SB last year. That or another account of Interception/Patradomous, who just got banned again

It's weird...I want to be mad, and I somewhat am, but I'm kinda over it. It would be much harder to take this loss if NE actually played good football, but they didn't. Offense just sucked. Brady played a real bad game. Two extra points were the difference between a loss and OT. Defense stepped up big against the run but the wide open passes in the first couple drives killed em. Sucks to suck, but at least we get to watch Denver get blown out again in two weeks. Is what it is

Obviously dissapointing loss but proud of the team and effort to the end. Tough place to win. Overall good season given all of the injuries. Next year this team will be awesome.

I tried to come to terms with the fact that we were unlikely to win it all as early as about a month ago, but my attitude isn't quite where yours is. The loss stings for me.

I'll say this I was much more furious about the loss earlier in the year. At least this one came down to just playing worse than the Broncos today and not lopsided officiating (though the first 3 or 4 drives of the game made it seem like it was headed that way)

The only year that I felt really confident was last year, when I made hotel reservations in Phoenix as early as November. Every other year was an optimistic feeling that we could definitely compete, but aside from 2013, this year was the one where I felt the least confident in awhile.

I know this isnt going to come across well at all, but I wanted to get it off my chest. It is almost going to be a relief when Brady and BB retire. It'll be a relief to not come into every season with expectations of Super Bowl or bust. I would never trade the Pats success over the last 16 years for anything but this team being so good for so long has put more stress and anxiety on me than they would have if they were just a mediocre franchise. I love them both, it's been a dominant run, the four Super Bowls were amazing. But I am way too emotionally invested in this team and its starting to get very exhausting. Sounds weird to say but thank goodness I don't have to stress out every hour of the day for the next two weeks and I can finally take a mental break from football

Back to the original post, thank you Pats for providing another interesting season.. they held my attention from January to January.. most of it was good, except the neverending deflategate. Sometimes I think we lose our perspective here.. this level of greatness will probably never be replicated, so enjoy the totality of the pats fans experience.. get ready for next year.

Its a shame how our season ended, with all the injuries this season I am surprised how far we have come.

Thank you Brady.

P.S: This offseason we have to improve our O-Line depth.
...And participation medals for everybody!

We are very fortunate to have our team in the Championship game almost every season the past 14 years. Unfortunately, you can't win them all for one reason or another. The players, coaches and management do an outstanding job putting together a competitive team each and every year. Thank you for your hard work and enjoy the off season. Opening day 2016 can't get here fast enough.
