People saying we need an RB and WR, nope. We need an OLine. We have all the other pieces on offense.

Of course I'm disappointed but I'm super proud of the team too... They overcame so much to come this far. This is the proudest I have been of a non-SB winning Pats team since 2008. I'm really fighting off the "what ifs" because what's the ****ing point.

Next year is going to be awesome.

lol...yeah, if you think losing to the garbage Eagles, ref called game in Denver, and then losing to the f'in Dolphins to lose HFA is considered a "great season" then that is mediocrity. What a PATHETIC game.

Horrible coaching. Tom Brady was terrible. The O-Line was trash. Eliminated by the Broncos AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.
I think pretty much every other fanbase in the NFL would laugh at you for calling a 12-4 season and making it to the AFCCG mediocre.

For all we know, this Carolina team could have come in in two weeks and blow our doors off, the way they're playing. (plus how beaten up we would have been after this game.)

It was a good year but plagued with injury. I hope our guys all get the rest they need to come back with a vengeance next year! Go Pats!

It sure is because of GREAT fans like YOU! I went to every home game this season. Even the dastardly loss to the Eagles, I spent to the last second in my seat. The Pats took EVERYBODY'S best shot this season as champs. Get healthy, lay in the weeds, get home field next season and perhaps we'll be raising a toast at NRG Stadium

couldn't agree more. they fought through adversity, injuries and of course the never ending getting every teams ALL. the mental toughness is/was admirable and makes me very proud to be a lifelong Pats fan

Yes, thank you for a great season. The silver lining here is that I highly doubt we would have won the Superbowl with that offensive line. Either NFC's D-line would have killed them. That's ok, just like in 2013, I was in peace losing this game, knowing the NFC (Seattle) would kill the donks. This time around, they have no chance against either CAR or AZ. Rooting for CAR now, since they have a much better QB IMO.

Thanks again my beloved Patriots. It was a great season. But alas, no point in dwelling on the past. It was a great 2nd half effort, props to our D for holding up in that suckage of an altitude (no pun intended).

Time to move on.... Onto 2016, the draft and FA.

On the To Do list:
1. Sign/draft O-line
2. Get rid of LaFell
3. Get a true x-receiver
4. Get a corner opposing Butler
Umm...what about White...there were two big (but tough) catches that he didn't make.

I do sort of look forward to the days when not every team brings their ****ing A+++ once in a lifetime greatest game with circus catches because they're playing the Patriots.

I think I been HYPMOTIZED!

Joker - Nicely stated! Reading this after posting above. Spot on.

Hardcore to the end, each and ever day fans like you also make me proud to be a Pats fan.

Yeah. How quickly people forget.

They were the champs.

They fought like demons, but they came up short and we can all second guess this decision or that decision up the wazoo...but Denver beat them twice...with two different QB's. No ****ing excuses. No ******** Jets-like whining. We had two shots at them and lost both. They should be in the SB, not us.

Let's man up and just ****ing say it.

They won. We lost. Let's stop the bellyaching and remember how we felt when Malcolm made his pick and give respect to the Broncos and, yes, Peyton, for what they accomplished.

Brady threw two picks and couldn't get them into the end zone or for that two point conversion several times in the last three minutes. He had the noodle arm, not Peyton. His O line put him on his wealthy butt eleven...eleven...eleven...times...**** happens. In this case, the **** won. Blaming anybody else is like blaming the dog's butt for the **** on the living room floor.

If we want to look anywhere, look at Gostkowski. Yeah, like Peyton, his regular season stats are awesome, but he's never, never, ever had to do what Adam did in the Snow Bowl (twice) and in XXXVI and XXXVIII.. Today, he blew it twice in the big moments...on the Extra Point and on the Onside Kick that didn't go five yards when we still had a prayer. Big time game? Big time pressure? Give me #4. No one is going to convince me otherwise, so, everybody, save your breath. I don't want the argument.

Go Panthers!

We are on to Training Camp. Brady still has another year at the top of his game, unless he gets tired of getting knocked on his butt and decides to go into Canton a year or two earlier than he might...for which I would not blame him at all.

Add this season into the coulda woulda shoulda pile.

oh yes
and thanks all of you for your comments
helping me learn more about this team and this game

Thank you players coaches and management for all the excitement - we are ALWAYS in the mix every year. No other team can say that by a long shot!

So proud of this team! They took every team's best shot, dealt with a million injuries, and the deflategate distraction. Can't wait for next year. Unlike most years, the Pats will not be losing any key starters (except Blount) in free agency. The Pats are stacked next year! It's hilarious that some think being a couple plays from playing in the SB isn't a great season especially with all the injuries. Try being a Brown or Bengals fan. Bengals haven't won a playoff game since 91.

I know it has been said many times, but, 15 yrs. w/13 Division Titles, 10 AFCC appearances, 6 AFC Championships, and 4 SB Championships. I'll take it and I'm thankful for it. Thank you Patriots.

There will come a day... When ALL of us are older... When the Bellchek-Brady era will be a memory...
Cherish the memories...

fun fact: the last time that the New England Patriots suited up for a football game and were out of contention for a Super Bowl championship was Sunday, December 24, 2000

I love this team.

In two weeks time, I'm rooting for the Panthers.

We won last year, so i can tolerate this loss. Can't be Super Bowl champion every year, hopefully we can built a superior squad next year.
