Hard to see Brady winning a 5th after this.

Plus, if we got an officiating crew who wasn't told to make sure Denver won, then we wouldn't be having this discussion. I saw too many Denver holds in the secondary to NOT believe that word was sent down to shade the game that way.

But yeah,we getthe healthy O-Line, plus all the guys that are on IR and there's an excellent chance this team gets a 5th Lombardi.
Don't blame the refs for this. This is all o line and coaching and special teams.

I love the pats and i love tom brady... But that was the most disgraceful loss in team history. Serioulsy we got outcoached and out played by a geriatric that cant throw the ball 15 yards downfield. The upside is with that performance there was no way we were going to win a superbowl. Tom brady is still the goat.. No one deserves to be fired or anything like that.. But that was a dsgrace.

This loss is not any different than any of the losses to the Giants in the Superbowls. In fact they all feel exactly the same.. OL breakdowns, Brady can't find rhythm and we run out of time..

Don't see how this is a very disgraceful loss.. the Denver D played pretty disciplined and well thoughout the entire game. You can call the loss to the Eagles or Miami disgraceful but here we tried but couldn't get protection up long enough.

I expect them to compete for the SB as usual. No reason to think they won't.

I'm not giving up. Brady won't either. He clawed and scratched till the.bitter end with no line support. Give him that and he will have his number 5.

You can dislike and disagree all you want... Someone tell me how that just happen.. Denver had like 200 yds of total offense and we needed a turnover to even be in the game. Peyton manning is gonna lose by 30 in the superbowl please some tell me why this wasnt an embarrashing loss

Why? He has impeccable work ethic, the guy basically doesn't allow himself a single cheat meal all year long. Sport science gets better each year, I see him having at least 2 more shot at it, if not three. The team is not perfect but it's good enough to be a contender year round. Another good news for you guys that there isn't a single team now that could be a dynasty.

The Seahawks could have been I guess but now they will lose Lynch and possibly other key players. The Broncos won't become an offensive juggernaut now like they were three years ago, and the Cardinals aren't that good. There was no clear-cut best team this year and chances are there won't be one next year either. The Panthers are good but they are a little bit lopsided as well.

This thread title would have been appropriate if this were the 16th game of the season and the team was nowhere near making the playoffs. The team was one game away from the Superbowl and just won one last year. I have some choice words I'd like to say right now but I'll hold off knowing a good night's sleep will make people realize how good this team is.

I want to see Brady under center more. I want a more balanced offense. The shotgun was fun, but I want to be more of a tough, physical team all around.

Healthy Brady, Gronk & Edelman going into the Superbowl. Best linebacker crew we've had in forever. Next year health is not guaranteed and Chandler Jones is likely gone. AFC teams get stronger, we get weaker... Hard to see a road back to the Superbowl after getting soooo close to going back to back.
The fact you referred to Edelman and Gronkowski as healthy makes me curious if you have been following the entire season.

Chandler Jones also under contract in 2016 so we would get something in return if he did go somewhere.

Huh? Lewis coming back..D pretty much coming back..and O coming back.

Division title again AKA playoffs...slow ya roll

Nope. The online is toast. Solder isn't that good either, people forget that. They were getting pressure inside. Stork regressed big time this year. Andrews as well. There is zero answer for the o-line. Zero. They aren't gonna trade for one, nor are they gonna pay for a FA. Mason and Jackson (when he played) were massive disappointments.

How you can't run block is beyond me. This team can't. You could have Walter Payton back there and it would not have mattered. This team has serious, serious flaws. I'd add in the coaching as well. Either they were told to offensively throw the game or they are inept. It's either or and neither are good.

SB48 was an embarrassing loss.

Anybody check on PatriotPimp? He's been such a worry wart all year long, he might need a hug, valium...

When is this front office going to get tom Brady a capable playmaking WR across from Edelman!

did chandler jones even play today?

Holy........ I'm not kidding but I completely forgot about him. He was an absolute ghost today.

I can see us winning next year, as long as Marcus Cannon is not playing RT and whiffing again and again and again, as Von Miller flies by on his way to the QB

a little dramatic viper...

we couldn't run last year either against good teams. only against the hilariously bad colts.

Exactly. Good Ds adjust after time. It isn't all on the line for sure. It's a huge part and I don't see it getting any better. Guys they have will be the guys they have.

When I see a guy or guys double teaming a guy and letting a free edge rusher go, I have a problem. It's line 101.

Kid, this is as healthy as it gets come the postseason. If you think they're going to hold up much better after 16 games next season I have some land in Kuala Lumpur you might be interested in purchasing.
